Tuesday Card Design

Hello scrappy and crafty friends. Hope this finds you ready to create. My name is Barbara and I will show you how to make a card with a cricut cartridge called Creative Everyday Cards
.
My tip for today: Use premade embellishments that are designed to match your pp colors to save time.
Here is the finished card:

Recipe:
blue cardstock
brown cardstock
cream cardstock
Cricut Cartridge Creative Every day Cards
patterned paper
wooden bird
stamps for the inside
premade sentiment for outside of card

First you cut all your pieces. I cut them all at 5.5 inches except the inside cream color piece which I cut at 4.5 inches. These are numbers 11,19. and 20 on the cartridge.

First score your card base. There is a tiny notch cut where you are supposed to score it.

Then fold the card and add the first layer to the outside front.

Then add layer 3 and 4.

Now, lets work on the inside. I stamped a sentiment and border on the cream piece for the inside.

These are CTMH stamps.
Then adhere the inside cream piece to the inside of the card like so:

Then to finish off the front, attach the premade sentiment like this:

and color the wooden bird embellishment with ink if desired.
The cartridge also has the ability to cut envelopes to fit the cards.
Thank you for stopping by.
Barbara

Fiskars AdvantEdge Punch System Review

Good morning friends, Carolyn here with a review of a new tool I just recently purchased.  Received a newsletter from Scrapbook.com recently and checked it out.  But I did not purchase from Scrapbook.com as it's out of stock, so went to another source, and it arrived this past Saturday afternoon. TIP:  Easy way to create borders for your scrapbook page layouts, or embellishing the page or creating edges for your cards.  Gives you ease of creating a border across the edge(s) of paper; and create a border strip and cut down to size you would like for embellishing a sentiment mat for a card or front of card.
