Welcome to A Year of Card Techniques Blog Hop where each month we feature a different card technique.
We’ve assembled a team of card makers who range from new to advanced, so you’ll see a great variety of cards and ideas. We all love our stamp sets and we all love our patterned paper.
Well, this month we’re combining the two by stamping ON patterned paper for some unique projects. It will be fun to see what stamps and papers our team decides to pair together.
And if you would like to check out our past technique hops, you can do that here:

I have to say this is a favorite technique of mine. I love it especially for sentiments. So here is the card that I did for the hop. I took pattern paper that was blah and added a medallion flower/ sentiment and I really like how it comes together. Pink and Black is a favorite color combo of mine too.
Now these are cards were all done using sentiments right on the pattern paper. When I do sentiments on pattern paper, I try to keep them black, gray or brown.
I hope you like them and are enjoying the hop so far!
Now you’re off to visit with Jodie . Hope you had fun and thanks for stopping by. See you next month with another technique!
Here’s the full line-up in case you get lost:

Good idea to stamp the sentiments right on the patterned paper. I'll have to try that! Great cards.
ReplyDeleteFour very different projects, and very creative and fabulous ones at that. I adore pink and black, so that first one was eye candy for me. Always great to hop with you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, nice to see the pattern papers!
ReplyDeletePretty cards! Love that medallion flower!
ReplyDeleteI really like all your cards and the first one is a nice twist on the embossing - where you put a designed piece of paper over the embossed image. Cool.
ReplyDeleteGood job on all 4 projects! I love the Christmas tag!
ReplyDeleteWow, great projects....love them all, can't pick a favorite! Love the swirls and medallion on the first card and the stamp on the tag...great!
ReplyDeleteGreat job; love the stamping on more subtle patterned paper and the bold patterned paper!
