Why do little boys have a hard time pooping on the potty??????????. 4. My bff, Jen, was in my thoughts today. (Unfortunely she lives 5 hrs away) 5. My Random Dozen

1. Have you ever been so lost that you were really afraid? No but I "lost" Jessica once.  Short story was she was sleeping under my hubby's side of the bed all curled up.   I just about died when I couldn't find her. 2. Have you ever been to an island? Once, Puerto Rico.  I took my mom on a cruise for her 40th birthday. 3. Are you more of a thinker or feeler?  I"m a feeling thinker, lol. 4. Do you tend to see issues or situations in life as black and white or shades of gray?  The bible is black and white, but then you read the red letters.  We are human with emotions, made in the image of God.  God gave use these emotions, and he also gave us the law to help us manage and use these emotions. So sometimes there is a little gray thrown around but the Holy Spirit will always guide and direct. 5. If you were stuck on an island, what book would you hope to have with you (Let's pretend the Bible is already there, so you can't say that.)   My sudoku puzzle book

No Pain… No gain?

No Pain… No gain? I don’t think so. I have been in “pain” off and on for the last 4 yrs. I've been the heaviest these last years and I am ready to be pain free. I exercised 30 min yesterday and today. We have FitTV so I just followed the Gilad “Bodies in Motion” yesterday and the belly dancing one today. Ever see a whale belly dance… pretty hysterical if you ask me, but it was fun. The kiddos jumped around the family room trying to follow the moves. We had a great time, and tonight I thought we all would go for a walk around the block when daddy gets home. Gotta start somewhere… This weeks scripture: Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” Mark 10:27

Memorial Day Challenge

Exciting Mommy news for me from yesterday, my 2 yr old managed to stay dry all day, including a mini road trip.  Bummer news, I found a hair in my dinner.  Talk about being on a diet, lol. At least dinner was free. In another news, I'm getting back to a healthy me.  I managed to gain back my weight. I had an injury, stopped excersing and gained weight, got depressed, started eating more, gained more weight, got depressed, quit WW online that I was doing, gained my 70 lbs back. Now it is back to square one. Two things that keep me going...1- my family esp husband's support. 2- I did it once, learned how my body loses the weight and know I can do it again.Where I messed up it not learning to maintain my weight loss even with injury and decrease activity.  Wish me luck! I know from the past that I do better when I set goals so I'm going to do a Memorial Day Challenge for myself. If you want to join along: 1. Copy and paste the following weeks 2. Pick your weigh in day and adju

Embellishments:  Prima flowers, gold brads, bronze ribbon Other: Mod Podge- gloss, and black chalk to give bird definition

Guess what?!?!

I thought I would share....I'm a top three pick from the design team!!!!!  How cool is that?!?!  Here is the card I entered!

Pooh Diapers

I was asked to make a "simple" diaper cake for a lady expecting a little girl. Here's the catch... NO PINK!!!   They wanted yellow, brown and green.  Luckily, I found out her theme was Classic Pooh. I found a cute hat and bootie set.  I also used Storybook cart for the letters and ovals. Overall, I think it was cute, but I would have went for the pink and lots of foo-foo embellishments.

We have a winner!!!!

My 100 post winner is... Christy from Scrappin for Jacey . A big thanks you to all the ScrapBook Blessings followers!!!!

Tulip centerpiece

No Cricut used...my heart be still. Papercrafts without the Cricut?!?!? My husband reminded me it could be done, lol. Since I didn't have my cricut-baby until last November.  I wanted a quick hostess gift to give my sister's MIL who was having us for Easter dinner. This is a very simple craft project to do.  Supplies:  cardstock, small dowel rod, green floral tape, double sided tape, easter grass, candle wax, sm. flower pot.  (The Pot/Stem) STEP 1: Cut your dowel rod 12 inches or size you need and wrap with floral tape.  Start at the top and work to the bottom. STEP 2: Take old candles and microwave bowl until melted.  Pour into flower pot. STEP 3: As wax sets up, put dowel rod in the center. (sorry I should have took a picture but I was rushing to get to dinner)  STEP 4: When the wax has set up with the dowel and is secure, fill with Easter grass and goodies.  (the sticker says "He has Risen".  It was the only yellow thing I could find on the fly) (Th

Everyone loves Chocolate (***enabler alert)

I remember making easter chocolates as a family when I was a little girl.  This year, I decided I was going to make some with my little girl.  I forgot how easy and hard at the same time it is making these.  Or maybe that is beacuse it was my parents doing all the standing at the electric skillet, lol! Here is what you need:   electric skillet, 4 coffee mugs, spoons, water, melting chocolate wafers, candy molds, and all the other goodies (like fruit, peanuts, raisins,  rice crispies, etc.) that you like in your chocolate. I got my chocolate (dark and milk) at the local candy/cake shop. I think the craft/discount store's chocolate has too much of a waxy taste.  At the cake shop, I was also able to get the rest of my stuff. (pictured below) STEP 1: Fill electric skillet with 2 inches of water and 4 coffee mugs.  STEP 2:  Turn skillet on high to heat the water and cups, and add the chocolate wafers (1/2 c at a time). STEP 3:  Stir chocolate until melted and spoon into candy molds.  Sh
