September Blog Hop Trick or Treat Day 4

Welcome to MFP   September  Blog Hop Trick or Treat There are some changes to our Blog Hop and  we hope you will be pleased with them. Be sure to look over the changes before hopping along. Blog Hop guidelines can be found  HERE Well, its is our last day for this month and it has been a great hop! For my last card, I did something different. I used various techniques from the other 3 cards and combined them to make this card! The tip for this card is in the sentiment. Just because it is one stamp, you don't have to use it as one. Here I took the Happy Halloween and split the words to make two word tiles with just some black matting. Very easy and gives the sentiment a pop on your project! So here were this weeks projects, Hope you have a fun Halloween. Stamp set used for this card is Witchie (one of the prizes) and Calendar Hope you like todays card... Next up is Shirley (click on her name in the list) but Here's the Whole D

September Blog Hop Trick or Treat Day 2

Welcome to MFP   September  Blog Hop Trick or Treat There are some changes to our Blog Hop and  we hope you will be pleased with them. Be sure to look over the changes before hopping along. Blog Hop guidelines can be found  HERE Welcome back for day 2! So, there is one card that I don't do and that is a Shaker Card...until now that is! I found two tips that made this card so wasy and less frustrating for me. 1st came from SBC DT Janie Rinta- she shares how she makes a shaker element here on You Tub e but my biggest take away is that she "de-statics" the acetate so the sequins don't stick!!! What a cool trick!  The 2nd comes from Prairie Paper and Ink and she shows how you can bend foam tape to make a circle!  Genius!!! Here is her video. So with those tips in mine, I was able to get my card done and it shakes like a charm! Stamp set used for this card is Calendar 2013 Hope you like todays card... Next up is Shirley (click on

Blog Hop guidelines can be found  HERE So for my October project, I want to play with the Jack O Lanterns.... or do you just call them pumpkins like I do? Hmmm? I wanted to show you a very easy way to make a basic card with two folds. That is called a GATEFOLD CARD because the front opens up like a gate... I know... original. Here is the front of the card The base card comes out to be 5.5 x 5.5 ( start with a sheet of 5.5 x 11, fold the sides in and meet them up in the middle) with the plaid matting measuring 5 x 5 for the inside and  another for the front but that is then cut in half at 2.5 to make the two panels. I use the left overs for the inside of the card... here I then stamped the greeting on each of the scrap panels, add extra pumpkins. The one that is peek
