Suzy Snowflake

Sandy here with my DT project for Sunsational Stamps... I saw Suzy Snowflake int the shop, and knew I love to make something with her. So using her as my inspiration, I decided I was make a little gift box that I could fill with hot chocolate packages and marshmallows.  The box is pre-made and I purchased a couple of them after the holidays. I colored the digi with Spectrum Nior markers, used pattern paper for my background, and add a cute little tag that I punch out with my circle punch. Suzy Snowflake Hope you like this box project. You can check out  Sunsational Stamps store  for many more wonderful stamps, digis and paper piecing images. You can find more projects, tips and inspiration at my blog A Working Mom's Joy . Thank you for stopping by, and happy stamping to all.

Baby layout

Hi everyone, it's Jennyfer here for Friday's layout. First my tip is start with a simple layout so that you get yourself used to slowly. This is a picture of my daughter and I really love this one because it shows how alert she was on her first day! My papers and embellishments are from MME and I added some hand journaling too. The scallop shapes were easily cut with my Cricut using the Elegant cartridge (gotta love this one!) at 9" and 9 1/4". Please let me know what you think of it since it had been 6 years since I first scrapbooked!!!  hope your enjoyed today's project too. If you have a question, please leave it in the comments, and a DT member will get back to you. You can find more inspiration and projects at my blog:  Jennyfer Creates . Also, you can join up to our   Facebook group: Scrapbook Blessings Club   for more fun, games, inspiration, tips and techniques.       Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Product Review: Brushable Glue

Hi friends!  Cristina here for ScrapBook Blessings Club to share with you Thursday's Product Review. We will be looking at Brushable Glue by Sparkle-N-Sprinkle. I wanted to share my glitter hearts with you for todays product review. I am using Tim Holtz grunge board for my hearts. Brush on brushable glue. (Tip:do it in sections so that the glue does not dry up if you take to long)    Apply a generous amount of glitter to your glue, the more the better. Once it dries if you want to add another layer of glitter you can. It will not ruin your project. I am using Sparkle-N-Sprinkle Neon Flamingo G1084.   I hope your enjoyed today's project. If you have a question, please leave it in the comments, and a DT member will get back to you.  You can visit me to see more card/project ideas at  VintagePink39 . Chalkboard Vinyl Decor

Hello, Friends!  Marilyn here with a project that was really simple to put together.   My tip today is:  Find an old picture frame and create something fun with it.  I used my old frame to create a chalkboard for my granddaughter. Inspiration for this Project Old Picture Frame Chalkboard Vinyl Square1 Repositionable  Digi Stamp - from Beary Wishes Image found online Chalkboard Recipe: Frame with glass - found in my back closet (dusty and unused) Chalkboard Vinyl - lay vinyl under the glass from the frame and cut around.  Peel backing off of vinyl and apply to top of glass.  Reassemble the frame. "RACHEL" = cut at 2" using Cooper STD font.  Text was color filled prior to cutting.  I used Square1 to print and cut the letters.  Place text where you want on chalkboard vinyl. Cookie Monster = image found using online search.  Traced within Silhouette software.   I sized my Cookie Monster at 2.75" and used Square1 again for printing and cutting.

Heart Shaped card

Hey kids!  It's Cindy today on the Scrapbook Blessings Club blog.  I've got Tuesday's card and it's a heart-shaped one. TiP:  When making a shaped card the rest of your design can be kept simple. Recipe: Wild Card Cricut cart - heart @5", I cut the polka dot layer @ 4 3/4" and instead of scoring it I cut it in half and used the other heart on the back of the card. The Paper Studio - Persnickety stack- polka dot paper Bugaboo Digital Stamps - Ava and Deacon heart watercolor pencils Oriental Trading Co - heart shaped button Sew Easy floss - princess pop dots I hope you enjoyed today's project. DYI- Window Scene

I recently made this card with the challenge being a Winter Scene for Sunsational Stamp Blog Hop.  This is a DYI- paper piecing card.  There are many window dies on the market but I don't have one and didn't have time to order one so getting out my trusty scissors, I created my own. Here are a couple of pictures, but you can find the full instructions on how to make this card at my tutorial site Scrapbook Blessings Club- Monday's Die Cutting The final DYI Window Scene card! Hope you like it and learned a new to you technique!

DYI- Window Scene Card

Sandy here with Monday's Die Cutting project. There are many window dies on the market, but I don't have one and didn't have time to order one so getting out my trusty scissors, I created my own.  So this is a  "faux die cut" or a DYI- paper piecing card. My tip for you: invest in some foam pop up tape. You can get this at the craft or hardwear store cheap and last much longer that pop dots. Plus you can cut the size and with that you really need. Here is what I used for this project: Momento Sky Blue ink, glue pen, white/blue/brown cardstock, small pattern papers, scissors, white paint pen (not showm), digi stamp and little images from a 12x12 design paper pad. First, I chose small prints for my "curtains and wallpaper". Then, taking my blue card, I dotted "snow" using the white marker pen. To give the card dimension, I used foam pop up tape. Here you can see how I free- handed the curtain shape and then cut them out.

Welcome our Special Guest Designer

Cristina here sharing our wonderful Guest Designer for today. Karen is our Challenge #9 winner with her beautiful card. We have invited her today to share her favorite projects and tips.      Buho Scrapper Hello everyone! My name is Karen and i´m so happy to be a guest designer in this awesome blog ! I´m 23 years old and i´m from Mexico . I have always been a memories lover, I like to keep as much memories as I can and put them into journals, photo albums, scrapbooks, etc. I started making scrapbooks when I was 16 but at that time I didn´t know what scrapbook was haha, so officially started almost a year ago, when I was pregnant of my first baby. I really love to keep all the moments we spend together into a scrapbook and a journal so when he grows up we can see how much I´ve loved him. That´s what a scrapbook means to me. Of course after I entered to this atmosphere I got into cardmaking and other papercrafts and I love it! Here are a couple of my favorite projec

It's January when its that time of the month for . . . .

Hi, its Lynne from Her Craftiness to share Saturday's Anything Goes project. But first my tip for you: Don't be afraid to step out of the box and stretch yourself. Sometimes that is your best work! Here is the card I made when I combine cutting with my Cricut, my inspiration from Create with TLC , and a strange color that all coordinated when applied all together!!!! When  Create with TLC  had the inspiration, "January", I had a project in mind that I knew I just had to do! First off, I love to use Create with TLC inspirations along with die cuts using my Cricut. Second is that I absolutely love, love, love Winnie the Pooh (who has been immortalized on my upper thigh). Now, he's been there for years floating upwards with his balloons but has gone unnoticed UNLESS . . . . well, you get the idea. With this being said, Lily is in the process of being "house-broken" or potty trained and insists on following you into the bathroom. She saw the Pooh

Simple Layout Designs

Hi Everyone, Sandy here for Friday's Layouts. Using my Cricut and some pattern paper, I was able to make this very quick and easy layout. But first my tip for you: When your use "busy" papers, keep your embellishments to a limit. Scrapbook 101 : This is a double layout of my little guy, Sam. By double layout, I mean that both layouts are going to coordinate to create 1 big layout which would be 12x24 so you need two sheets in your album that are side by side. The pictures I chose are from birth to 3 yrs old and the layout design is a great way to work in some of your favorite misc. pics of the kiddos.  He loves, ok, is addicted to any kind of sports so this paper is just perfect for him, but it is busyyyy for sure! So, using my Cricut, I cut my letters at 2" from the George Basic Shapes and Letters cartridge and just a couple of little label stickers that said: son, beautiful, charmer. The hardest part was picking the pictures! Hope this inspires you to

Stuffed with Love

Good morning. Sandy here with my first project for Sunsational Stamps... I saw this cute teddy bear and knew I have make him for my first Christmas card for 2014. Yep, its never too early to start on your Christmas card collection. Using my Spectrum Nior markers, I was able to color him using  the "dot" method for the fur.  Instead of coloring in the image, just dot the color on top of each other to build up your color.  Stuffed with Love Hope you like this card project. You can check out  Sunsational Stamps store  for many more wonderful stamps, digis and paper piecing images. Thank you for stopping by, and happy stamping to all.

Hi friends!  Sandy here for ScrapBook Blessings Club to share with you Thursday's Product Review. We will be looking at EK Success- Stamp and punch today.  First, I have my tip of the day for you....  Always keep a glue stick on hand.
