It's January when its that time of the month for . . . .

Hi, its Lynne from Her Craftiness to share Saturday's Anything Goes project. But first my tip for you:
Don't be afraid to step out of the box and stretch yourself. Sometimes that is your best work!

Here is the card I made when I combine cutting with my Cricut, my inspiration from Create with TLC, and a strange color that all coordinated when applied all together!!!!

When Create with TLC had the inspiration, "January", I had a project in mind that I knew I just had to do! First off, I love to use Create with TLC inspirations along with die cuts using my Cricut. Second is that I absolutely love, love, love Winnie the Pooh (who has been immortalized on my upper thigh).

Now, he's been there for years floating upwards with his balloons but has gone unnoticed UNLESS . . . . well, you get the idea. With this being said, Lily is in the process of being "house-broken" or potty trained and insists on following you into the bathroom. She saw the Pooh Bear on my upper thigh and asked if her mother knew what I had done. Then she proceeds to get wipes trying to wipe it off my leg because as she says, "You're not supposed to write on yourself with markers!!"

So, I just have to share my card . . .

RECIPE:
  • card was cut 6 x 12, creased with Martha Stewart Score Board using www.coredinations Foundations Grand Canal Card Stock
  • background is from Create with TLC Christmas Club for 2013 and was cut 5 x 5 inches
  • subway art was a recent freebie from Create with TLC
  • Winnie the Pooh was cut 2.25 inches using Cricut Disney Winnie the Pooh and Friends Cartridge and puff-dotted to add dimension
  • snowflakes were cut using a hole punch
  • shovel is from my button stash
  • ribbon is Celebrate it Holiday from Michael's (don't you just love when all the colors coordinate especially when they are sew odd!!)
  • all edges were all chalked
I hope your enjoyed today's project. If you have a question, please leave it in the comments, and a DT member will get back to you. Also, you can join up to our Facebook group: Scrapbook Blessings Club for more fun, games, inspiration, tips and techniques. Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,
Lynne

Building Block Graduation Card

Hello, everyone! Melissa here on to share a "building block" style card with you. I made this one graduation themed, since there are a ton of graduations going on right now. Hope you enjoy this card, and are inspired to try it out yourself. Here is the tutorial I followed from Split Coast Stampers. To make it easier, I will give you all the measurements, here. It looks harder than it is, I promise. Start with a piece of cardstock in your desired color that is 5.5 x 10.5. Put the 10.5 inch side along the top of your score board or paper trimmer, and score at 3.5 inches and 7 inches. Fold the first score line in a mountain fold, and the second in a valley fold. You should end up with a "z" fold card. The next part can get a bit tricky, so make sure you watch the video to fully understand what I am about to explain. On the back side of the "valley" fold, take a ruler and pencil and mark these measurements: 3/8 1 3/8 1 5/8 2 5/8 2 7/8 3 7/8
