I used my Cricut Explore to cut these.  The more I used my Explore the more I LOVE it :-)  LOL! Hello, Friends!  Marilyn here with a birthday card that incorporates some subway art.  I found a fun (free!!) and easy online application from  Tagxedo.Com  that lets you create your own subway art. First, here's my finished birthday card: A2 sized card See the Subway art in the center of the owl? Here's how to do it: Step 1:  Go to  www.tagxedo.com Step 2:  Select the orange " Create " button on left. Step 3:  Select the  Load  Button on the left column. Step 4:  Type the words that you would like to have included in your final subway art.  Enter the same word more than once and it'll appear larger that the rest.  When done, select Submit button on right. Step 5:  Go to  Theme  and select a color choice. Step 6:  Go to  Orientation .  I chose H/V (horizontal and vertical) for mine. Step 7:  Go to  Shape .  I chose the circle.  This made all...

Hey kids!  Cindy back on the SBC blog today.  I've got a fun fold birthday card to share with you.  It's the Joy fold and it's also the optional twist on our current challenge.  You can view that post and also enter the challenge here . TiP:  Don't be afraid to try new folds.  They are fun to make and to receive :-)  Cut your cardstock to 6 1/4 x 4 1/4".  I will refer to this one as the base .  Cut another at 6 x 3".  I will refer to this one as the flap .  Score the base piece @ 4 1/4".  Score the flap @ 3".   Fold them both on the score lines.  (sorry about this pic)  Attach the flap in the center of the bigger side of the base as shown.  And this is what it looks like closed.  Easy peasy, right?!! Hello, Friends!  Marilyn here with a birthday card that works for both men and women. A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25" Glasses with Reflection purchased in Silhouette Store #59995 Sentiment - computer generated Inspiration from Pinterest I cut three sets of sunglasses and mounted them together to create a chipboard effect.  And I was able to create and print all layers for this card with one piece of 8.5" x 11" white card stock - front and inside!  Here's my Silhouette mat layout: On left is the Pinterest inspiration. Hello, Friends!  Marilyn here with a tutorial to make some fun and inexpensive shoes to wear at that next pool party or maybe at the lake. DIY Pool Party Shoes Here's what you'll needed: Blank canvas slip-ons (mine are from Walmart and cost $5.87) slip on canvas shoes purchased at Walmart Silhouette Cameo Images from Miss Kate's Cuttables Square 1 Printable (approx. $1 per sheet) - link available on right hand side of screen. Ink Jet Printer Use fabric glue when you are ready to make image placement permanent Use Krylon Crystal Clear to give a nice protection to your shoes Fabric Glue (available at craft stores and Walmart) Krylon Crystal Clear (found at Hobby Lobby and Michaels) Select images from Miss Kate's Cuttables.  Color and size to your preference.  Set all images to cut outside edge only, making everything a print and cut.  Add your registration marks and send to printer (loaded with Square 1 Printable first) Load...

Hey kids!  Cindy, back on the SBC blog today.  I've got a cute, fun fold card for the 4th of July.  The utube video I watched is here . TiP:  If you don't have a circle punch use your cricut and the centerpoint function along with any cart you have that cuts a circle.  11" x 4 1/4" cardstock.  Score at 4 1/4" and 8 1/2".  Punch/cut your circle out of the top flap.  Your score line should be at the middle of the circle.  You could put the circle more to the left or center.  Play with it and have fun :-)  Opening the card.  The smaller star is the stop that holds the top flap.  I used pop dots on it. Inside the card.
