Teddy Bear Invasion 101

Hi Friends!  Sandy from Scrapbook Blessings here to show you another card tutorial for She's a Sassy Lady .  I have been on a teddy bear kick lately and was inspired (link is below) to make every bear on the Teddy Bear Parade cart from Cricut. So I wanted to show you my little tips in making a lot of diecuts for future projects in a short time. Here is my Inspiration Bear... So let the teddy bear assembly line begin!!!! You need a bear (cut at 3"), glue pen, black scrap card stock, pink and tan color pencils, white gel pen, black sharpie  Using the sharpie marker, fill in the nose, draw the mouth and the ear creases all following the cut lines on the die cut  Flip the bear over and adhere a piece of the black card stock over the eye holes (tip: no one is going to see the back so you don't need to waste paper and cut another place bear in black unless you want a shadow, just use scrap pieces. I do this ALL the time) Using the color pencil

Make sure you leave a comment on all the blogs because there is some awesome giveaways! We were asked to make a project that inspires us to "walk on the wild side".  For my project, I attempted animal masks for the kiddos, but they didn't come out how I wanted them to, so on to plan B... I ask Ms Jessie-girl if she wanted to help Mama with a cute layout of my of her going to the zoo for the first time. She was excited and amazed that she went without her brother and sister. I laughingly told her that she was more than enough for us by herself at the time. I had a cute zoo theme sticker pack and a couple of pictures that she picked out and this is what she came up with... I think she did a great job and was really impressed on how she clustered some of the items. She told me it w

Hi Scrappy Friends!  Today is "Would You Ever Guess @ My Cricut Craft Room"- Using a Border Feature.  I chose to do a step fold card this time using Teddy Bear Parade, Doodlecharms and Wild Card carts... TBP cart: Bear cut at 3" (make sure Real Dial Size is off that way the outfit cuts at the right size) DC cart: Heart Border cut at 1", 1.5" and 2" (don't you love it, a ton of hearts with just 3 die cuts) WC cart: I Love You cut at 2" WITH Real Dial Size ON! To make it a little easier for me when making my bears.... I just tape a piece of scrap black paper to the back of the head for the eyes Use a black sharpie marker for the nose Pink color pencil to fill in the ears Tan/peach color pencil for the muzzle and belly White gel pen to give some dimension with the eyes and nose Black fine tip marker pen for eyelashes, bottom of the ears and the mouth. The bear is raised up using pop up tape. Love just cutting off one big piece, ve

Tribute to Proverbs 31...

Here is another card I did for Twist of Faith Card Challenge Blog .  This is a new- to- me blog, love the card ideas they have.  I used various Stamping Up sets for all the images/sentiment and some pattern paper and ribbon. Inspiration is Proverbs 31 woman... here is just a small piece of the verses but my favorites... She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.  When she speaks her words are wise and she gives instruction with kindness.  She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness.  Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her... Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Welcome to “Fun In The Sun” Blog Hop! So glad you can join us! If you are coming from Lucy , then you are in the right spot. If you just happened to stumble upon my site or your reading this via e-mail, please start at MIRANDA'S BLOG   so you don’t miss anyone’s amazing projects! We will be showcasing summer time projects! In addition to seeing some awesome projects, there is some blog candy available too!  For my project today, I created a CAS (cute and simple) layout:  a summer layout of Em's first vs to the beach... A very easy and simple layout... - Used a "sand" design paper, summer fun embellishment packet and some blue lined pattern paper. Layouts don't have to be riddled with tons of details. -Let the pictures speak for themselves ie:  She wouldn't go in the sand, she had to stay on the blanket which had to be clean at all times.  And when I finally got her in the water, she wouldn't sit without crying so she ended up sittin
