Bye Bye H1N1!!!

See ya swine flu! Our Jessica is all healthy now and fighting... oh I mean PLAYING with her baby brother and sister, lol!!! I wouldn't have it any other way!

Thank you for your prayers!

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name” ~ Psalm 100:4 ( NIV ) Today I am very thankful that my daughter is feeling better. Thank you for all your prayers. They mean a lot in this battle against sickness!! I want to post a couple of things that Jess had. I know it has already help a mom I work with. She got her daughter to the doctor this morning and yes, she has the swine flu also. For Jessica, it all started Sat with a stomach ache and irritability . Sunday, she had a cough, upset stomach, drowsy, loss of appetite and had a temperature. Monday was the same but Tuesday was the worst. She woke up not being able to walk, it hurt too much and her eyes were swollen. We took her to the doctor. She was diagnosed with Swine flu and was given medication. Two days later you would never know she was sick. She's running around playing with her siblings and has her appetite back. Thank you again for keeping us in your pray

Pray for Stellan...now!

Please keep baby Stellan in your prayers. He took a turn for the worse and is in the hospital. Here is what is going on! Mckmama Father please touch his little body. Bring healing and a full recovery from this episode. Guide the doctors in the decisions they make for him. And bring comfort to his family, knowing you have that little boy in the palm of your hand. Amen.

Swine flu has hit us

We just got back from the doctors and found out Jessica has the swine flu plus a severe double ear infection. She has the medication to treat both. Also the dr prescribed meds to Sam and Emily because they have been exposed. I need to call the dr for Chris and I to see if we need medication too. Please keep her in your prayers. She is just miserable :pitiful: Along with the other kiddos too. They have no symptoms and we're praying it stays that way. Thank you and big hugs

Marriage Monday

Want this button? I really like this Meme. The ladies have touched my heart, and I rejoice in how God has renewed their marriages. Is there really the possibility of a perfect marriage? I don't think perfect, but I do think a good, healthy marriage is possible. When I married 4 1/2 years ago, I thought my marriage was going to be "perfect" then I got real. It is like the Huggies commercial . Try other brands and then get real, get Huggies . You know, that one, lol . Just a few years later, I really got real. My marriage isn't perfect, but it is a good one with all the valleys, hills, and mountains included. My biggest realization was my marriage is not perfect because I'm not perfect. I used to blame hubby 100% until I got the notice from above that 50% of that belongs to me. With that in mind, I want to share our biggest odd that we over came together. It was my husband's ex-wife and son. Not going into all the gory details, just know there were ma

But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. 6. I come from Ohio 7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to playing with my Cricut, tomorrow my plans include dinner and playing with my cricut with friends and Sunday, I want to go to church and then come home and play with my Cricut!

More hours please!!!

I getting ready to start my day now, and I'm realizing I really could use more hours in today! Not only today but all week, I'm going to be a busy bee. And my days seem to be getting shorter and shorter! I'm thinking if I just had 26 hours instead of 24...but wait if I had 26 then I'd probably want 28, lol. I know you all are feelin' me here. Lord, I need help today to accomplish all that you would have for me today...with a cheerful heart! Praying you have a blessed day blogland friends!

Happy Day

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy day. Joyce Meyers said something on tv today that got me thinking... "A new day, a new devil". But I rejoice in the fact that God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. His promises are steadfast and never changing. And with Him, I can overcome any new devil that might come up against me. Blessings

My first diaper cake!!!

I've finally made my first diaper cake. I love the way it turned out. Hubby helped me roll all the diapers, and the paper flowers were the most time consuming for the whole project. Next time I think I will use silk ones. The total cost for this was $35 and that was using some supplies that I already had. Of course the diapers were the most expensive. I use 100, size one diapers. I GOT MY CRICUT!!!!!! Xmas came early for me!!!! I used my Cricut, which I got yesterday, to finish the cake by cutting out the baby's name on the bottom tier. This was a fun project to do!
