I've finally made my first diaper cake. I love the way it turned out. Hubby helped me roll all the diapers, and the paper flowers were the most time consuming for the whole project. Next time I think I will use silk ones. The total cost for this was $35 and that was using some supplies that I already had. Of course the diapers were the most expensive. I use 100, size one diapers.
I GOT MY CRICUT!!!!!! Xmas came early for me!!!!
I used my Cricut, which I got yesterday, to finish the cake by cutting out the baby's name on the bottom tier. This was a fun project to do!
That is so pretty. Did you use cloth diapers or disposable? Thank you for the link to Above Rubies. I had seen the Cricut in stores but didn't know anything about it. I loved watching her videos. Now, the Cricut is on my wish list. I know what to use my 40% of coupons for.

ReplyDeleteYour diaper cake is gorgeous! Those roses are beautiful! Did you make those? I hope you have fun with your Cricut - I looove mine! :) TFS
ReplyDeleteI used disposable diapers, the paper flowers I made from a Martha Stewart kit and the "roses" are made from baby socks, 6-12 months :)
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous! Great job!
