Triple Stamp Card

Here is my first Triple Stamp Card, you can find the tutorial for it HERE .   This is one that I will be doing again for sure. I was inspired by the Sketch with a Twist challenge at MFPSpeedyTV Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Ribbon Card

FOSTV Challenge is showing ways to use ribbon.  For my card, I used a pretty gold striped ribbon as my "matte" for my card.  I then made this little ribbon flower using strips of folded red ribbon glued on a circle punch.  Easy to do and then finish with buttons... Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Sunday Blessings- Amazing Grace (my chains are gone)

Hoping you are all having a wonderful Sunday. Acts 16:26 and suddenly there came a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison house were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s  chains  were unfastened. I pray that 2013 is a time for break thru, the chains that bind shall be forever broken. No matter what you are going through be it either on the mountain top or in the valley, God is always with you. Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Scrap it sat- card 5

This sketch challenge came from Freshly Made Sketches ... The cute angel came from Cuddlebug Cuties .  I color using my Spectrum Nior Markers.  They are having a Love challenge right now. Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Scrap it Sat- card 4

I have 2 words... Doodle Frames!  I have never done this before and I am hooked, I love how cute (I think) it came out!  I ended up doing two!!!  You can find this over at Mark's Finest Papers . For this card, I framed out the embellishments.  You can find the sketch for this card at CAS(E) This Sketch. Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Scrap-it Sat- card 3

I had to get in one of my favorite clean and simple cards!  I got the sketch from Less is More .  The colors idea came from CardzTV (red, black and white) and the theme from Addicted to CAS ( hearts)... I just love these heart- bursts I guess you would call them. They are Studio G that I picked up at Walmart for a buck along with the sentiment also for a buck.  I love the way it looks like chalk on a blackboard. Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Scrap it Sat- card 2

This card is a favorite of mine, I have made it a couple of times, just love the shape card.  I used the Wildcard cart. for the card base and the digi stamp is coming from Meljen and just adorable.  I used my  Spectum Noir and pencils to color in.  I just love this stamp! I am going to enter this in 2 challenges.  The first is One Stop Craft (sparkle and bling).  I used some jewels and Stickles for the outside to shine it up some.  The second is MFPSpeedyTv (flowers). Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Scrap-it Saturday

With a very busy day under my belt, I had to relax and that equals cutting paper and glue, lol! My first challenge came from Cuttin and Sampin ( pink, gray and white colors) and the theme came from Celebrate the Occasion (baby cards) and design came from Die Cuttin Divas ( punches and ribbon)... I decided to do a more "modern" take on a baby card.  I know my SIL would love it...now she just needs to get pregnant, lol!!!! Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

A sweet treat

I made this card today for a couple of challenges today... I had this cute cupcake for a while that I wanted to use.  I got it from my friend Anne in a swap.  She used her Cricut Imagine to make me some embellishments. The card sketch I used is from Clean and Simple Stamping , you can find it HERE . Also check out Pause Dream Enjoy , they are having a "dessert"  card challenge! Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Faux Colorful Embossing

Here is a tip if you don't have a heat tool and embossing powders!!!! You can still get the heast embossed look by using card stock and some already "embellished" embellishments. I think this card is darling and the best part... there is a ton of embossing all over it and I didn't even use y heat gun!!!  The pattern paper came from a DWCV embossed matte stack and the cute little embossed buggies came from a recycled birthday card from a couple of years back, I just cut them into individual squares and used pop dots to adhere them to the card!  Easy Peasy! I made it larger so hopefully you can see the embossing. the sketch came from Freshly Made Sketches Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Shoes and purses and shoes and purses

I am a purse-oholic!  I love my Coach and Miche purses, those are all I carry.  They cost a little more, but you can't beat the quality! Here is a little card that I made for one of my friends, who loves purses and shoes as much as me! I got the inspiration from MFPSpeedyTv's purse and shoe challenge and the sketch came from Retro Sketches (another fun blog I found today). Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Purple is my favorite color!

I love using the color purple.  If I had my way everything would be purple, black and white, lol!  Here is a little card that I did  for two challenges today... I came across a great .ning site today... .MFPSpeedyTV .  It is full of tips, tutorials and challenges, 3 of my scrapbooking favs!  You can find the sketch and challenge for this card  HERE .   Also check out Paper Playtime's #2 challenge :  use some brown   (that is where my cute doggie comes in) Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

I decided that I wanted to make a centerpiece for my hubby's 40th birthday (you can see his 40 candles card HERE ). I told him I was making a diaper/depends cake ( I make custom ones for my business) LOL! That got me thinking, I could do a pop cake, using his favorite drinks, Mt Dew and Dr Pepper! (I saw a beer cake on Pinterest) I embellished it using his party colors, black and blue and stuck with stars and ribbon curls. I used George Basic Shape cart. and Graphically

I Love Penguins

Here is a cute card that I made using Wildcard and Create a Critters cartridge.  I am trying to go CAS once again. my little buddy was cut at 2" and the window card at 4.5"by 4.5"  inside... the sentiment was 4.5 the same as the card (remember this is not the true size like real dial, but the size that corresponds to the card cut.)  I also used my core'dinations cardstock sanded after I embossed it with my snowflake folder. Die Cutting Divas' challenge PENGUINS and  Exploring Cricut challenge "Baby its cold outside" Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

My favorite card of the day...

Okay, I think this is my favorite card challenge of the day!  Once again I used Sweetheart cart . for my image and tag. The inspiration for this card came from Sketch Saturday #241 sketch and the theme came from Die Cuttin Diva's blue, ivory (which the circle and tag is, put pic came out lighter) and gold color challenge.  The twist in this is card came from Cut it Up's #10 challenge, use something you got new from Xmas.  That is the embossing heart plate that I got from Santa in my stocking!  This is my first time using it and I am looking forward to doing more especially for the holiday.  The i love you stamp sentiment is new too but I just got that last night at PatCatan's. Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Gotta love CAS!

I just found a great site today... Addicted to CAS .   Their challenge is embossing so I made this card using my sports embossing plate.  The theme came from Less is More's sports/exercise challenge. This is actually my third card that I made, but it is my favorite of the bunch.  And yes, I know girls can play too but this is for my son.  I know he will get a kick out of it ( no pun intended, lol).  Here are the other two cards that I made with the same theme... Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Sat. Scrap It Challenges- pretty kitty

This is my last challenge post for the day.  Here is a sweet card for a little girl. Sweethearts cart.- kitty cut at 3" The sketch and sentiment idea came from Twist of Faith Card Challenges , The theme came from Pause Dream Enjoy Challenge #1- ribbon ( I used this great felt flower ribbon that I got at Michael's during the holidays), and Paper Playtime's Pet challenge #1. Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Sat. Scrap It Challenge-purple card

Here is my second post for today...  Like I said all of my January Cricut Cuts are going to come from Sweethearts Cartridge Tag image is cut @4" This card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches for the sketch and Fantabulous Cricut's "tag your it" challenge. I want to show you just the tag...  This is actually the second tag I made and the cake is the "negative" pieces from the first tag I made.  The heart at the bottom is the negative cut from this tag.  I love to use all the "pieces" from my cuts. Here is the first tag I made...  I put a pattern paper on the back of the tag (also 4" tag ) and then had fun embellishing it by inking, using my stickles, stamping images and sentiments. When you put them together, you get two different tags with the same image!!! Man!  I love my Cricut!!! LOL Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,
