Fridge Magnet Project

Hi Friends,  Sandy here with another post for She's a Sassy Lady .  Today I am going to show nice project that I made for my sister. Her and the family are leaving for Africa in 4 days for two years. She will work as a teacher/missionary.  So...yeah, I'm a little emotional right now. She asked me to make some thank you cards to give to those that support Martin's 4 Africa .  But, I got to thinking, thank you cards are nice and all, but I wanted something that people can see everyday.  And when they do, they might be reminded to say a little prayer for her, Joe and the kiddos.  I came up with refrigerator magnets. It is something that people will see when they head to the fridge. She loved that idea and even helped me make them.  We spent the night, laughing, remembering and just enjoying each others company. So let's get started... You will need: 3x3 chipboard square ( I got a poster board sheet of chipboard at the craft store, we made 50 of these from

THANKS) Hi friends, glad you made it this far for our Red, White and Blue hop.  You should have hopped of from AJ's blog but if you didn't, you can start at Connie's .  I think it being July, everyone has done patriotic projects and I am no exception. I did a spinning pinwheel tutorial not to long ago, you can find it HERE .  So I decided to make some for the holiday. For the life of me, I could not find any 12x12  red, white and blue paper in my stash so I made my own. I started with my inks and a white piece of cardstock I just dragged the pads in different places. This is the back of the paper.  Taking a stamp set, I started with my biggest stamp and worked down, filling the paper up.  I then went to the small star stamps to fill it in and her

Patriotic blog hop

Welcome to the July 13th Patriotic Blog Hop hosted by  www.thecricutchirp.com .   You should have came from   Katie's  .   If you’re just joining the hop, make sure to start back at the beginning at the Cricut Chirp. We hope that you enjoy hopping along with us as much as we enjoyed putting our projects together for you.  For my project, I did this great card using Stand Up and Salute cartridge.  It is a simple one layer card. For the country image, I also used a background shadow that I cut just a little larger than the blue one.  The frame is just doodled out. Add some ribbon and God Bless the USA, Land of the Free ( no matter what some are trying to do!) I will be giving a little goodie bag to someone who leaves a comment on this post. If you are a follower, let me know and I will give you a second chance to win. Thanks!  USA ROCKS!!!! Hope this inspires you. Here is the line up... Twisted Easel Tutorial

Hi Friends, Sandy here for The Stamping Chef with another easy tutorial for you to feature your great digi stamps.  Easel cards are a great way to do this and really are easy to do.  I thin this will be a Easel Series Tutorial. I guess this would be Easel Part 1. So lets get started... For basic Easel, Start with 5x10 cardstock and score horizontally at 2.5" and 5" and fold.  You will need another 5x5 piece for your picture base to go on front  Now for your Twisted Easel, same measurements but instead of folding straight across, fold from top left corner down to bottom right.  That's it, so easy!!!!  Here is what it looks like when upright  Now put you adhesive on the bottom triangle  And attach your 5x5 square to the bottom glued triangle  When you start to decorate your card, you are going to fold it in half that way you image is not sideways when you open it  Decorate the front  Decorate the inside  Don
