Do you make your own cards?  They are easy to do and you can make a bunch for just pennies.  I went to the store the other day and was shocked at how much a card was?!?!?! I wanted to show you a card fold that I just love! It is called a gatefold card and you see them around quite a bit. For this card, you can make it any size you want. I started with a 5 x10 piece of cardstock. Score in 2 1/2 " on either side, giving you a 5 inch base. Then cut you pattern paper a 1/4" shorter ie : cut (2) 2 1/4 and (1) 4 3/4 Adhere the papers to the base Decorate the inside of your card Then cut a second piece of cardstock for "gate" part of your card I cut mine 3 x4 Adhere it to the left flap of your base card Decorate/embellish it like you want There you go! A very easy card to make, esp in any size and shape :)

So I have been busy the last couple of days in preparation for the new school year.  I am so excited to have 2 in school now, the third starts next year hopefully.  She is a September baby so we have to wait and see. I'm starting to see the fruit of my weight loss now. I wore a size smaller pants and shirt plus..... HIGH HEELS!!! I didn't have pain! That's a biggie for me. If you know me, you know I love my shoes!!! The question I ask my self... "What did I do this for?", plays over and over in my mind. I did this not only to feel good, be healthy, wear high heels, lol... I did this so I could be the woman, wife, mother that God wants me to be. I love this song, LIFESONG by Casting Crowns. And...here we go! 1. I picked out a new nail polish today at Target .  2. I spread out cream cheese for a dip for the church picnic tonight .  3. I heard the Fresh Beat Band the whole way to Target and back .  4. I wanted to take a nap but have too many things to do .  5. I wish the sun was shining and it was a little warmer out .  6. I noticed that my front window needs cleaned . 7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to church picnic , tomorrow my plans include going on a mini road trip with the family and then having a sleep over for my dtr with 2 other 7 year olds  and Sunday, I want to go to my moms and enjoy a nice soak in her hot tub (hubby taking the kids to a b-day barty) !

Today I am very thankful for my extended family.  I love how close we are, not only in distance but in relationship and fellowship.  We are not only family but friends.  Yes, we fight and bicker at times, but we make up and love.  Loving unconditionally is the key to a good healthy family.  My family has its share of drama but where there is drama, is usually the person that doesn't grasp the concept of true love. Love is patient, kind, humble,caring,compassionate, truthful, sacrificing, hopeful,persevering and unending. Tonight, I have my sister and mom coming for scrap booking, we try to do this every Thursday at my house. However, I kept getting calls from hubby today. Now my brother is coming over with baby Jake ( I get my cute baby fix!) and my grandma is coming with my aunt. It is becoming a big party house now!!!  I am called to love my neighbor but I am not commanded to have to agree with them. -me God has really shown me in my heart that I am to love no matter what.  Recently, I have been persecuted, threatened, hated on... all for being me.  But it is okay and well in my heart.  I will make sure that all I do will be in love.  Jesus says to give him your burdens and take on His yoke.  I give it all to Him and I will love like He loves.   We are called to love. Perfect example, my BFF and I disagree on this subject but I respect her opinions because that is how she feels. Who am I to say she is wrong even though that is not my same feelings on the subject. Nothing will separate the love I have for her and she feels the same way about me  . Here it goes... I AM ADDICTED TO PINTEREST !!!  There I said it, I own up to it, lol!  I have even woken up in the middle of the night, turned on the computer and checked if there were any new pins?!?!?!  I have the Pinterest toolbar button so I can pin anything, have 27 boards and over 700 pins and I am not done!  Don't know what Pinterest is?!?!  Then you are missing out my friend.  It is a site that you can "pin" links to different "boards" but not only that, the best part is you can repin what other people find!!!! My favorite is finding all these great ideas for the kiddos and parties.  I've done about a dozen or so of them already.  The other thing I like is finding all these great recipes online and I am able to pin them to my boards.  Very easy to find something quick and since I am a visual person, I love seeing how the food is intended to look (not how I really made it, lol) Are you a Pinner? They are a wonderful group of people that I have surround myself with.  They speak words of edification and love always even in situations that are not good in my life.  There is no condemnation from them.  They are a giving body in the community and reach their hands outward throughout the world. Natalie Grant Last week, I shared my God song with you. The song that ministers to me through out the week. This week, I thought I would share my "anthem" so to speak. This is the song that reminds me... no matter what trials and tribulations that come my way, I will not be moved. I will stumble, I will fall, I will face heartaches, I will feel alone, I will feel confused, I will feel helpless.... BUT I WILL NOT BE MOVED! Nothing, no one is going to take the Blessed Hope that I have in Jesus. My faith will not be shaken even though, at times, it seems as my life has been. I know I will not understand everything, but I understand He died for me, and my place is eternity with him. Nothing on this green Earth is going to change my mind and believe me, it has tried! What is your anthem song?

I come back to blogger and everything changes!!!!  Now I have to relearn how to use it.  So how are you all doing?  For me, I am too blessed to be stressed, at least that is what I tell myself. I updated on my roller coaster ride of weight loss, its one I just can't seem to get off of.  I am still working but now I do 40 hrs in 4 days, like having fridays off even though I just spend them at home with the kiddos.  My second is going to be in kindergarten now.  My oldest kiddo is in first grade (we kept her behind a year).   And I am so excited to only have one in preschool, my bill is going down dramatically!!!!  Hubby is good.  He is happy with less financial stress ( we refinanced).  We went from a 30 year morgage to a 15... big shout out to my bestie for leading us in that direction!!!  Loving to have the house paid off my the time our oldest graduates from high school! Church is wonderful.  I started back in the choir now that the kiddos are older.  It is such a blessing to me
