Bad Bad Blogger

Hi Blogland!  I took off the summer months and had a great time with my family.  They are my joy! The weather has been so nice over all.  Work is just as stressful, but I love it.  I  am blessed to have a great job.  Church is awesome along with the Journey Group (bible study) we belong to.  What else??? Oh, I officially gain back all of the 70 lbs that I lost last year.  I have some plans in the works in regarding to my weight but I'll post about that later. Here are a couple pics from my son's birthday and Vacation at the beach... He's three now! The Family (my three with Papap)

Diva Challenges!

Looking a great challenge?  There are a couple going on at Creative Scrapbooking Divas ... Use your Stash Challenge with Luisa  I used a cereal box for this project.  I "freecut" the box to the shape I wanted. Covered it with pattern paper with texture and Modge Pod the whole thing.  The letters are from Songbird cartridge.  It make for a great quick clean up and then later I can put away my tools the right way. My Recycle Card Challenge You can find the post for that HERE Mix your Fonts Challenge with Alecia Here are the LO I did for this challenge...   Lori's Christmas in July Ann's National Hammock Day Challenge   This was a fun card to make.   All the cuts are from the Life's a Beach cart . Love all these Divas!  Stop by and join in the fun!

Happy B-Day

My oldest is 5 today!  Can someone tell me how 5 yrs just flew by?!?!?!  Her party is on Saturday so I am in full decorating mode.  Her theme this year is Dora the Explorer. In other good news, my BFF, Jen is coming to town with her family for the weekend.  Her Dh and my hubs are best friends aka brothers from different mothers.  So we are really excited!  I'll have plenty of pictures to scrapbook too (still trying to catch up from our football b-day party). Here are a couple of pictures from our vacay to Ocean City, NJ two weeks ago.

Sunday Worship and Praise!

Judy's Handmade Creations decided to celebrate Sunday with a post.   I'm on board girlfriend!!!  Judy posted her favorite worship song and I thought I would share mine too. Natalie Grant: I will not be moved is my favorite all time song All in All is my favorite worship song

Football Party

Football was the theme for my 3 yr old's birthday. He is a huge sports fan already. The only problem is that everyone got him baseball gifts, and now, he is obsessed with baseball, not football! For the football player, I used Everyday Paperdolls.  I attached him to a sucker stick so he could "stand" on the cake.  The H B-day is chipboard attached to another stick. The white lines are masking tape on a "grass" tablecloth. The letters are from Platin SB cartridge.  Footballs are from Everyday PD and grass is from Platin SB along with letters for the banner on the fireplace..  The names are from Zooballoo. I can't believe he is 3 already.  Next year is a baseball theme and then he'll probably be into soccer, lol!

Great News!

I am honored to be asked to be on the design team for CSDivas!!!  I will be Admin DT of the cardmaking and stamping group.  There are also other groups you can join like Traditional Scrapbooking, Fun Techiques, Altered Art, Art Journaling, Mini Albums, and Gadget Guru to name a few.  CSDivas also has chats, games, online crops and such.  It is a wonderful, inspiring group to be a part of.  I am excited to say the least! Visit Creative Scrapbooking Divas For my first DT challenge, I am going green.  Recycle some of the used cards you have laying around by creating a layout or card that uses an "used card" as an embellishment.  Here a some I did... Please join us at CSDivas and show off your Recycled cards/LOs!!! (small RAK will be given out)
