Coneflowers & Roses

I loved creating with these two stamp sets! For these cards, I pulled out my circle/scallop dies and the Cuttlebug.

ROSES

CONE FLOWERS

 My quick card tips:
~ for an easy way to get coordinating colors for your pattern paper, use your color pencils with a little big of odorless mineral spirits. You can match up the colors perfectly every time.

~ If you don't have a die cut machine and dies, grab 2 different size bowls out of the cupboard. Yep, bowls! All you have to do is trace and cut! Then you can layer the circles to get an easy border.

~The first card, I cut the rose out by hand and adhered to the circle low and off center. For the second card, I stamped the image right in the circle.

~ For more ROSE card techniques: You can check out the forum and Tutorial Time Challenges for Beyond Borders tech using circle dies to create you cut out.

How about you... any circle tips to share?!?!

Hope to see you tomorrow for my next hop inspiration card!

Fiskars AdvantEdge Punch System Review

Good morning friends, Carolyn here with a review of a new tool I just recently purchased.  Received a newsletter from Scrapbook.com recently and checked it out.  But I did not purchase from Scrapbook.com as it's out of stock, so went to another source, and it arrived this past Saturday afternoon.
