Core Crop Challenge #5 (ornament tutorial)

You can check out the next challenge HERE.   She did the cutest candy cane flower holder.  I will definitely be doing this one!!!
The challenge: to use items you have on hand to create a home decor or gift item.

I decided to do a scroll ornament. Not as easy as I thought by I got the hang of it (no pun attended, lol)...

Real quick:
Cut 12 strips of cardstock @ 1/2" by 9 1/2"
Bend in half and roll down to the middle
One end will roll all the way down and the other half way
Take two pieces of scroll and glue the "long"side to the second piece's "short" side. Do this for all the pieced.
Add a string to the last piece for handing.
Punch out embellishment for the center.
Done!

Here is the finished ornament!

And what the hey, here is "my" tree in the living room.  (the kiddos have "their" tree in the family room)
The family calls it my "flower arrangement"  lol!!!

Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,
