Morning, hope you are having a great day so far. This month we are celebrating advent which is the preparation of our King and Savior. He came not as a warrior or diplomat or one of wealth and prestige, but he came as a baby, defenseless, helpless, and fragile. I am looking forward to when He will come again, but this time it will be as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords coming from heaven with a loud command and the trumpet call of God.
So as we celebrate week 2 of advent, we look towards peace. A peace that passes all understanding. No matter what we hear in the news or see in print. No matter what the governments of the world decide. No matter what Satan tries to bind us in with fear... we have a peace like no other. A peace that His promises are Yes and Amen. A peace that one day we will be with our Savior.
Little Drummer Boy is my third favorite Christmas song. I think because I identify myself with that little boy in the song. The lyrics move me.
I come to the Lord with nothing. I have nothing that I can give to him other than my talents. I pray that those talents and gifts glorify His name.
Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,
