2015 Let's Get Organized: Organizing Digital Designs

Hi, it's Lynne here and I'm offering an organizational tip for Scrap Booking and crafting supplies that I use. One thing that I like to do is a storage solution for the digital downloads that I have acquired through Design Team projects, free downloads, and purchases. 

 This is the time of the year to purchase photo boxes which are a great container and it has dividers. I get various different colors and designs 

with the dividers, I write the various companies on the tabs and where I have a good many of the digitals such as Create with TLC, I separate into various categories such as birthday, Christmas, Halloween, Vintage

 I try to print downloads as soon as I can, separate with paper cutter into sizes and label in the upper corner where I got the digital and the name of the digital

I file them as soon as they are printed and labeled - when they are a Design Team Project, I label which Design Team it is for and the due date along with the name of the digital design and company




    all are in their place and ready to be used

    I hope this is something you would find as easy a system to use as I do.

      Great idea. Do you also file by subject? I've been mulling over a way to organize my digis, too. On the computer I have folders for each designer, but often find myself searching through folder after folder to find a certain stamp that I know I have somewhere.

      I also file according to subject - birthday, vintage, Christmas, Fall, etc. I found this works for me and hope it works for you also
