Anything Goes blog hop- day 2

Welcome to the Anything Goes Blog Hop Day 2!! We are pleased to have you here. We hope you enjoy seeing all the fabulous projects on each blog in this hop. Everyone really took this theme and ran with it!!! So,we are giving you 2 days to hop. We all know how busy lives can be:)

You should have started at Shelley's blog Scrapbooking for Fun. If you didn't please go to the beginning. We don't want you to miss a single great project in this line up. Hopefully you hopped over from Janet.

I decided that I wanted to show case a different craft for today ( you can find yesterday's pop cake if you scroll down). So for today, I have for you and easy, peasy birthday banners. that took no time at all to make and was "manly" enough for hubby's 40th birthday party...so you won't find any tulle, flowers or ribbons here, lol.

Using his party colors, black and blue, I cut out these cute letters using George Basic Shapes cart. I used the blackout shadow feature and made the size 3.5". The ribbon I used was the curling one (rogan) that I used for the cake and to adhere the letters, I used mini glue dots at the top of each letter. Instead of one long banner, I decided I wanted to fill up the screen area and went with 3 min banners vertically. I did curl the ribbon at the end though so I did get some fru-fru on it, lol.

No hop is complete with out some candy...blog candy that it!!! Here is the blog candy pic...
Shelley, our hostess, has a great blog candy package for 1 lucky winner! All you have to do is comment and be a follower on each blog in this little hop!
(Shelley ships to the US only, thanks)

Now off you go... hop on over to NADJA and I'll see ya later!
