March 23-- DIY Kids Coloring Book by Sandy
March 25-- Long Easel Card by Gail

So I have a very easy and great tutorial that you can do either with your kiddos or for them as a little gift.

I am going to show you the
5 min DYI Kids Coloring Book!
Let's get started !

DIY Kids Coloring Book
 by Sandy Hentzel

Items needed:
4 pieces of 4x4 white cardstock
small hold punch
pencil
6 inch floral wire
wire cutter
black ink
stamp set
(I used Zoo Friends)

First you will measure your holes.
Starting 1 inch down, measure every 1/4 inch five times.
You should end an inch from the bottom.

Next, I like to wrap my 6 inch floral wire around a pencil to get my "coil".

Now you want to twist the wire into the holes.

As I am twisting, I will use the pencil to make sure I keep my coil shape.

At the ends, you want to hook your wire into a loop so the coil stays in place.

After you hook your ends, this is what the front should look like.

And here is a picture of the inside of your book.

Now the fun part is to start stamping the images that you want. Here are the images I used covering the front, back and the pages in the middle.
I like to personalize the back page.  But the ideas are endless and I can guarantee 100%,  your little one will LOVE their own little book.
Plus with the new craze in coloring books, I bet there is a special girlfriend or two that would love a floral image book, one with birds, etc.
MFPStamps are fabulous line art stamps perfect for this type of craft!

Fiskars AdvantEdge Punch System Review

Good morning friends, Carolyn here with a review of a new tool I just recently purchased.  Received a newsletter from Scrapbook.com recently and checked it out.  But I did not purchase from Scrapbook.com as it's out of stock, so went to another source, and it arrived this past Saturday afternoon. TIP:  Easy way to create borders for your scrapbook page layouts, or embellishing the page or creating edges for your cards.  Gives you ease of creating a border across the edge(s) of paper; and create a border strip and cut down to size you would like for embellishing a sentiment mat for a card or front of card.
