The Stamping Chef was born in November 2012 and we recently celebrated our 1 year birthday with a fantastic party with all of our followers!! 

Here’s a little bit about Tamara, the artist/creator of all the wonderful images you will find in The Stamping Chef store.   Drawing is my passion, and my style is fun, cute and doodlish ~I think =D.  I love to see images come to life when they're colored by amazing crafters. Creating digital images can be a tedious process, but I love each and every step of it.

The Stamping Chef offers a bi-weekly challenge on Wednesday on our Blog, along with our monthly challenges on our TSC Recipe Facebook page (if you are not a member please come join us,  as you will love all the fun things we have going on!).

TiP:  If you don't have a punch that will work on the corners of the bookmark just leave it plain.

Sandy- A Working Mom's Joy

Tip: using a ruler and paper piercer, just poke a hole every 8th of an inch to get the perforation for the book mark

TIP (with pic demonstration): If you want to paper piece a digi image, but don't have the colors/patterns you want in 8.5 by 11 form, print a base copy on paper, then use washi tape to temporarily adhere the scraps to the paper overtop the image. Make sure you don't put the washi over the image, or it'll print on the tape. Don't ask me how I know that. :) Run the whole thing through your printer. Piece as necessary.

Tip: When making your card plan to leave some blank space.  It gives you a place to a write a message when you are ready to give it to the recipient. The blank space is especially important if you are using a lot of patterned paper on your card.

Tip:  Use your bookmark as part of your design. 

Just fold it over the top instead of inside.

My Tip: If you have a lot of white space in your digi, mount it on darker paper to make it pop.
