Here is our Throwback Thursday Project... Hey kids!  It's Cindy for the Scrapbook Blessings Club blog today and I've got a fun glitter embossing technique to share with you. TiP:  Be sure and close your Versamark pad before applying the embossing powder. Okay, grab the following supplies and let's get started :-) Versamark pad Embossing Tinsel (or you can use embossing pwd and glitter) Heat tool embossing folder baby wipe Steps: 1-open the embossing folder and generously apply Versamark to one side  (I used the raised side and got glitter coverage on the background of the embossed image) 2- put your cardstock inside the embossing folder and run it through your Cuttlebug 3- apply your embossing tinsel (this has glitter right in it)   or  you can mix embossing powder with glitter about half and half ...should look like the photo below: I started with a white piece of cardstock.  As you can see I missed a little spot with...

Hi friends!  Sandy here for ScrapBook Blessings Club to share with you a favorite SBC Throwback Thursday project... Here are some of the projects I did for Halloween in past years. I was addicted to my Cricut at the time, lol... The first one is: The gift bag was made using the cut from Accent Essentials Cartridge and end caps feature for the handle from  Plantin   SchoolBook  cartridge. ************************************************ The banners were made using the  Plantin   SchoolBook  cartridge, and ribbon. I punched two holes in each card and threaded the ribbon through the back. The pumpkins are 5 ovals cut to 3" and layered over lapping. I drew the faces on with a black sharpie marker. ************************************************* I just had to show these pumpkins off. Hi Friends, Sandy here for Throwback Thursdays.  But first my tip for you: A very easy and mess-free glitter medium is Stickles. I like using "Diamond" color. It goes with every project! I wanted to show you a card fold that I just love! It is called  a gatefold card  and you see them around quite a bit. For this card, you can make it any size you want. This is how I did this one... Hi everyone, Sandy here for a fun post. We are going to be changing things up a little here at the club. Every Thursday is going to be "Throwback Thursday".  This is were we take a card, project, tutorial that we have done previously and share it with you.  Then we do the same project again showing the "now" style we have. This is a fun way to see how far you can come as a crafter. This is one of my first tutorial posts from back in 2012. It is a z-fold card... Start with with 8.5x11 cards and cut in half, making two pieces measuring 4.25x5.5 as seen here Fold in half and this is an A2 card (perfect for invite envelopes that you can find at Walmart) Fold the top flap of card over in half (see below).  This will give you your z-fold, notice the bottom of the card, it kinda looks like a z.
