Hi everyone, Sandy here with my hop cards. You should have hopped over from Stacy.
I had a blast with these stamps. When I choose a set, I look for versatility. How many different ways can I use this stamp set?
When you look at the set, you see the light bulbs first. So not having anything like this in my stash, I thought this would be perfect for some encouragement cards.
I did some masking to get multiple bulbs and then stamped the sentiment on all but one. To color this card, I used my Wink of Stella pens in clear gloss and yellow.
My next project was a simple Christmas tag. I knew that this cute tree would be perfect for a simple tag. I used Viva Pearl Pen in Ice White for my "snow" look.
And my last one is a simple card using the light bulb as a little vase. This is what I meant about versatility. Love it! I used yellow Stickles for the flower center. And Nuva Crystal drops for my pink drops on the card around the sentiment.
As you see, all these cards were done as one layer cards, with different and fun coloring mediums to add interest and a little bling.
BRILLIANT! I love the first card and then the last card with the light bulb upside down! BRILLIANT!!

ReplyDeleteSuch lovely one layer items. The card is so cute with the light bulbs not colored except the one you are featuring. Such a cute idea! And you made a tag and and another card. All are different and yet with the same stamp set. Goes to show you have a wonderful imagination!
