NOW...
Let's get started HOPPING !!
Hi everyone, I am excited to have some Autumn Fun... even more, I want the weather!!!!! Bring on the bonfires, sweaters, and everything pumpkin, lol.
Day Two!

So I tackled the second tutorial by Kren.

Have you ever had a happy oops? Well, I evedently don't know how to measure because I cut my cardstock a little off. (Make sure you check out Kren's for the "right" measuremenst).

But I have to say, I really think it turned out cute!?!?

I got a little bump out because I cut the back panel a little too short. The only problem is that you can't put it in an envolop because it will not fold down flat and would end up creasing. I think I would either put it in a gift bag or make them close their eye and then hand it to them, lol.

This is the stamp set I used, I AM THANKFUL.
You can find it HERE .

  1. Your card is so cute. I love the image you chose and the card design. We must have went to the same measuring school. I make lots of mistakes on measuring my cards. Have a great day.

  2. Cute little guy. Love how you have him colored. I like how yours has a little bit of curve. Most of my cards need to be hand delivered. LOL

  3. Oh yes, a happy accident! I think it looks sweet, too bad it won't fold down. I think you could gently wrap it in tissue and give it with a gift.

  4. I love the way it turned out...too bad it won't fit in an envelope...BUT...you can always make a decoration with it...you know, something to set out over the holiday :) Hugs...Janie

  5. I got a giggle with your story about cutting the cardstock too short, but this is so adorable! It would make a really darling table top decoration or place card.

Building Block Graduation Card

Hello, everyone! Melissa here on to share a "building block" style card with you. I made this one graduation themed, since there are a ton of graduations going on right now. Hope you enjoy this card, and are inspired to try it out yourself. Here is the tutorial I followed from Split Coast Stampers. To make it easier, I will give you all the measurements, here. It looks harder than it is, I promise. Start with a piece of cardstock in your desired color that is 5.5 x 10.5. Put the 10.5 inch side along the top of your score board or paper trimmer, and score at 3.5 inches and 7 inches. Fold the first score line in a mountain fold, and the second in a valley fold. You should end up with a "z" fold card. The next part can get a bit tricky, so make sure you watch the video to fully understand what I am about to explain. On the back side of the "valley" fold, take a ruler and pencil and mark these measurements: 3/8 1 3/8 1 5/8 2 5/8 2 7/8 3 7/8
