Box Card Fun and a Die Set

Hello Crafty Friends! Brenda here with a fun box card.  Recently I have discovered the Sizzix Big Shot.  I know.....where have I been if I am just "recently" discovering the Big Shot.  Well I was busy being content with my Cuttlebug, Spellbinders Grand Calibur and my Cricut. Then, I discovered that the Big Shot has a magnetic plate.  That was all it took and I immediately "needed" it. LOL!!! I have to tell you ......I absolutely love it.  The magnetic plate makes using these dies so much easier.

This particular die set is from The Stamps of Life.  This set will give you all that you need to make a pop-up box card and more!  Here is what I came up with:

The person that I was creating this card for is a big fan of Wonder Woman.  I did incorporate several of the flower dies from the set into the card.  The two large Wonder Woman pop-up elements are stickers that I mounted on cardstock.  The small Wonder Woman pop-up in the center is a button.  I also used Stickles, gems and Journey Glaze (similar to Liquid Glass) on this card.

Pop-up box cards are so fun to make.  The die set makes it so much easier to create.  This is the first one that I have made using the die set.  In the past I have traced a pattern or measured it out.  I have to admit, at first I was very intimidated by the sheet of dies.  Luckily, Stamps of Life has a wonderful video explaining how to use this die set. It definitely came in handy for me!

I hope that you enjoyed today's pop-up box card. If you have a questions or suggestions, please leave it in the comments. Also, you can join up to our Facebook group: Scrapbook Blessings Club for more fun, games, inspiration, tips and techniques. Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!
