April Calendar Girls' Blog Hop

Welcome to our April Calendar Girls' Blog Hop. Its absolutely amazing when you do a google search the interesting facts you may find. Such a find is special and unique occasions throughout the year!!! These unique holidays are our inspiration. As Neil Sedaka sang in his song "Calendar Girls" - "April, you're the Easter bunny when you smile". Yes, I know that Easter came early this year, in March actually, but Neil Sedaka sings with April as the Easter Bunny ...... can't blame the lyrics!!
The hop starts with the beautiful and very talented Kimberly .

For this month, I have 3 days that I picked. I went with easy to do projects ranging from 5 to 15 mins.

2 Children's Book Day- Sandy- Book markers
Very quick run through on how to make these... Start with 4x4 square, measure down 2" and score diagonally
Fold down on score lines and tape together
place a scrap piece of card stock over tape and adhere and then cut away excess
When you turn it over this is what it is going to look like
Then go ahead and decorate
(Only 5 min to do)
22 National Jelly Bean Day- Sandy- Candy Favor Boxes
Quick box...I found this tutorial HERE
The only difference it that I punched a scallop circle on the front to make it see through
(10 mins to do)

27 Tell a Story Day - Sandy- Mini story book
Here is a little book that I made to celebrate the 27th...
The inside story I made up as I went and the images are just various stamps that I had to go along with the story and then quickly colored. In all, this took a quick 15-20 min to make.
She absolutely loves it and carries it around in her play purse.

I hope you liked the projects I made to celebrate these days!
