Now for my project.... I get alot of inspiration from CSDivas, from both the Diva members and the DTs. (The card that I did was inspired by Diva member Lena.  She entered her card in our Diva of the Month Challenge.)
My Diva inspired card
Easel cards are sooo easy and make a great gift!
You need: 1 (5x10) solid paper
1(5x5) solid paper
1(5x5) pattern paper
  • Score (5x10) cardstock at 2 1/2" and 5" (fold as above)
  • Adhere (5x5) solid paper to 2 1/2 front side
  • Adhere (5x5) pattern paper to bottom (5x5) section of base
  • Decorate front of your card
  • Add a strip of card stock (1x5) to base with pop dots to hold up your front side of card (making your easel)
  • Embellish the bottom the base of your card.  I used a simple heart with some red stickles.
Hope you like it and get to making some Easel cards (hint, hint)
That's right, my challenge is for you to make an easel card using any of the Divas' creations as inspiration! Visit our gallery here. Pick a creation that inspires you and get to creating.  When you post your project, please add which name/project that you choose to use. (ex: I used- Feb Diva Challenge by Lena Jo McCoy)

Building Block Graduation Card

Hello, everyone! Melissa here on to share a "building block" style card with you. I made this one graduation themed, since there are a ton of graduations going on right now. Hope you enjoy this card, and are inspired to try it out yourself. Here is the tutorial I followed from Split Coast Stampers. To make it easier, I will give you all the measurements, here. It looks harder than it is, I promise. Start with a piece of cardstock in your desired color that is 5.5 x 10.5. Put the 10.5 inch side along the top of your score board or paper trimmer, and score at 3.5 inches and 7 inches. Fold the first score line in a mountain fold, and the second in a valley fold. You should end up with a "z" fold card. The next part can get a bit tricky, so make sure you watch the video to fully understand what I am about to explain. On the back side of the "valley" fold, take a ruler and pencil and mark these measurements: 3/8 1 3/8 1 5/8 2 5/8 2 7/8 3 7/8 ...
