Let's get started !!
Hi everyone, I have a fun and easy Paper Garland tutorial for you today for the
Step 1
Punch out your circles.
You will need to double them so if you are doing a banner
with 3 decorative circles,
then you will need 6 punched out.
Step 2
Stamp your images and Color. My preference is Momento Ink and Pencils,
but this is totally up to you on how you
want to decorate your garland circles
Step 3
Cut off a piece of the ribbon or cord that you are going to use.
I used this Paper Cord that I received from MFPS.
You want at least 12 inches to play with.
Step 4
Line up your circles. Blank ones can go at the bottom.
Lay your cord over top.
Step 5
Place the glue in center of the bottom circle
and then place the decorated one on top.
Optional:
I punched out 5 scalloped ovals to place behind the circles
to add more decorative interest.
Step 6
Poke a hole through the top corners of the gift bag
(bag purchased at dollar store)
using a paper piercer, hook or hole punch
Step 7
Look cording through the wholes and knot. Then cut off the extra.
This can be as long or as short as you want.
Final Bag!!! There you go, all done
and you totally personalized your bag to fit the shower theme.
Best part is this garland can be for any holiday or event. And you can even make it vertical to a make a decorative hanging like I did these snow flakes for my daughter's Frozen Party.
