Welcome to the 29th edition of

"Meet Me On Monday!"

brought to you by Java.

"Its a great way to to meet new friends and for others to get to know me better....one Monday at a time!!!"....as quoted by the Chacogirl!! I will make this SIMPLE and FUN!!!

1. Do you have any New Year's resolutions?

I don't call them resolutions. I call them goals and yes I do make them...I make plans to be a better person in different areas of my life...one that I made this year is to get back to morning 'Quiet Time' before computer time....I also make project goals such as finishing UFOs....the genealogy scrapbooks that I made this year, for my family was one project that had been on my list for a couple of years.

2. What food item are you craving right now?

Well, since I haven't had breakfast yet, I'm just wanting food, period. However, for a week or so, I've been craving a good steak...I don't eat red meat very often and it has probably been a year since I've had a steak.

3. When is your birthday?

June 29

4. What were you doing an hour ago?

Reading my Bible and writing in my journal....then I did some work for my women's club..trying to organize my thoughts and plans for the meeting next week so I can make an agenda....my financial committee meets tomorrow and I had to supply them with the charities we had supported in 2009-2010.

5. Last thing you cooked?

New Year's Dinner: Boiled Ham, Cornbread, Great Northern Beans, Spinach

We had leftover Barbecue for lunch yesterday and went out to dinner.

Building Block Graduation Card

Hello, everyone! Melissa here on to share a "building block" style card with you. I made this one graduation themed, since there are a ton of graduations going on right now. Hope you enjoy this card, and are inspired to try it out yourself. Here is the tutorial I followed from Split Coast Stampers. To make it easier, I will give you all the measurements, here. It looks harder than it is, I promise. Start with a piece of cardstock in your desired color that is 5.5 x 10.5. Put the 10.5 inch side along the top of your score board or paper trimmer, and score at 3.5 inches and 7 inches. Fold the first score line in a mountain fold, and the second in a valley fold. You should end up with a "z" fold card. The next part can get a bit tricky, so make sure you watch the video to fully understand what I am about to explain. On the back side of the "valley" fold, take a ruler and pencil and mark these measurements: 3/8 1 3/8 1 5/8 2 5/8 2 7/8 3 7/8
