CSDiva Design Team Call

Creative Scrapbooking Divas is excited to announce a call for an additional Design Team Diva.

This call is open from March 11 – March 20 with the announcement on our site March 24th when we announce our crop winner. This will be a three-month term and only those who promise to fulfill the following criteria will be considered.

Who are we looking for?

• A Diva who is willing to dedicate time (daily) to our site by being active in the discussion forum, commenting in the diva gallery, welcoming new members, wishing Happy Birthday and spreading good cheer on a regular basis.

• A Diva who endeavors to inspire by hosting one challenge per month and offering a small RAK to challenge winners, posting tutorials and tips, be group leader in at least one group.

• A Diva who can respect deadlines and is a good team player.

• A Diva who will help promote our, post about CSDivas activities on their blog/twitter/facebook, and upload their work in the gallery for inspiration on a weekly basis.

How Do I apply?

• Full name, email and mailing address.

• A link to your blog (if you have one).

• A link to your online gallery.

• A short bio including why you think you are a Scrapbook Diva. Also let us know if you have a specific skill or area of interest (for example, sketches, cards, altered art, digi). If you are a part of other design teams (please do not spread yourself too thin, CSDivas requires commitment since we are daily site)

• Your take on the attached sketch (from Page Maps). Looking for creativity and techniques since DT is required to share both with our Diva members.

This will also be posted in events where I will any answers you may have. You must also RSVP there so I will know to watch for your email submission.

Building Block Graduation Card

Hello, everyone! Melissa here on to share a "building block" style card with you. I made this one graduation themed, since there are a ton of graduations going on right now. Hope you enjoy this card, and are inspired to try it out yourself. Here is the tutorial I followed from Split Coast Stampers. To make it easier, I will give you all the measurements, here. It looks harder than it is, I promise. Start with a piece of cardstock in your desired color that is 5.5 x 10.5. Put the 10.5 inch side along the top of your score board or paper trimmer, and score at 3.5 inches and 7 inches. Fold the first score line in a mountain fold, and the second in a valley fold. You should end up with a "z" fold card. The next part can get a bit tricky, so make sure you watch the video to fully understand what I am about to explain. On the back side of the "valley" fold, take a ruler and pencil and mark these measurements: 3/8 1 3/8 1 5/8 2 5/8 2 7/8 3 7/8
