Welcome our Guest Designer Alicia

Congrats to Alicia for winning Challenge #7 with her wonderful card using the Letterpress Technique we have asked her to be our Guest Designer and share with us a little bit about herself and her favorite projects. Hi My name Alicia O'Bryant and I am a craft addict.  I have crafted for as long as I can remember.  I have been a "professional" crafter for 25 years.  I started making jewelry in 1988 for gifts and within a year I was selling my wares.  Jewelry was my primary artistic interested for many years, but along came my son.  After losing my first child I was going to document every moment of this child's life.  Well, I have!  He will be 14 soon and still being an only child has his every wish within my means and his every event documented.  I have scrapped so many soccer pages, I don't know if I can do another!  I get a little tired of all the boy pages, so I often scrap my nieces.  I scrap mainly traditional, but I have a fl...

Advent Calender

Hi there,  Cristina here for ScrapBook Blessings Club to share with you Friday's project I made for Christmas. First, my tip of the day.... have fun when creating .  You don't want to feel overwhelmed with something your working on. If you get stuck put it away and start with a new project until you have a clear head and then go back. Onto today's project... I made this advent tree for my kids. I made one a couple years back and they move Santa around on a calendar until x-mas day but I would always have to buy the chocolate advent calendar at the store because they loved getting a treat each day so of course each little box has a different chocolate for each day. Here is what I used: cardstock: DCWV "Home for Christmas" 3 in 1 clue, glue gun Tim Holtz "Black Soot" Martha Stewart - Aquarium Holly Berry acrylic paint Kaisercraft Advent Tree I hope your enjoyed today's project. Fiskars AdvantEdge Punch System Review

Good morning friends, Carolyn here with a review of a new tool I just recently purchased.  Received a newsletter from Scrapbook.com recently and checked it out.  But I did not purchase from Scrapbook.com as it's out of stock, so went to another source, and it arrived this past Saturday afternoon. TIP:  Easy way to create borders for your scrapbook page layouts, or embellishing the page or creating edges for your cards.  Gives you ease of creating a border across the edge(s) of paper; and create a border strip and cut down to size you would like for embellishing a sentiment mat for a card or front of card. Birthday Banners!

Welcome to today's post here at Scrapbook Blessings Club! So happy you could join us! Teresa  here from Fresh and Renewed bringing you a great post and project for you today! Tip: Banners are really easy to make and can help a birthday child feel very special. I create one for each of my 7 grandchildren on their birthday each and every year! Here is a picture of the most recent birthday little guy in our family! He had a candy themed party so I created a round shaped banner to resemble candies.     Thank you so much for joining us here today...hopefully I have inspired you to maybe create a banner and not be intimidated by the large task it may seem to be.   Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,
