Making a Scene Using Your Stamps and Watercoloring Process

Hello everyone! Welcome back to SBC! I'm Katelyn and I've got a new tutorial to share with you! I started doing this with some of my stamp sets recently and after having enough practice I decided to share with you this easy technique to extend the mileage on your stamps. I have two stamps here that I purchased off of Etsy. They are not necessarily intended to go together, but since the illustration style was the same, I figured I would make a full scene out of them. Some other supplies you will need for this project include stamps that "go" together, a fine tip black pen (or whatever color you're stamping in), a watercolor set, and a fine tip brush. Let's dive in to more details about the process. Essentially, what we're doing is taking two stamps and filling in the gaps. The video gives a better representation of how this occurs, but I basically mimic what is around the already stamped image. The grass section tends to be the easiest since it is es...

Lawn Fawn Mini Notecards

Hi everyone, Sandy here for a fun and very cute project that I did with  my youngest daughter for school. We used the Lawn Fawn Minis, and she designed this from start to finish.  I think she is trying to take my place on the team, lol! So after I cut the card stock for her and she spent an hour picking out her colors, here are the little 4x4 note cards that she wanted to make for her classmates for the end of the year. She wrote a little note to each student inside, all 18. I was so proud just for that alone, lol. She picked out the Lawn Fawn mini... You Color My World.  These stamps are the perfect size and a bonus is that you can also purchase the coordinating metal dies!! So here are the colors she picked out. And of course she had to grab some Washi Tape from my stash. Scrapping for Less has such cute tapes, you need to check them out in the shop! Last but not least, I wanted to show the die that I bought that matched this stamp. And to keep track of ...

June FB Challenge Card Share

Hello SBC Friends! Tasha here sharing my project for the SBC June Facebook Challenge sponsored by Bugaboo Digi Stamps ! The theme for June is Step-Cards , so I thought a bright summertime card would be perfect! The digital stamp used is called " Bacon In The Sun " and it's from Bugaboo Digi Stamps . This image is super cute and I just love his cool sunglasses! I used markers to color the digi and embellished with clear glitter. Gold glitter paper was added to mat the center card and add sparkle; I love me some glitter paper! For the sides and bottom, I chose a tropical flower pattern paper that brought in tons of color and stuck with the summer theme. The sentiment was printed in a hot pink font color and I created a simple banner. Lastly, three lime green enamel dots complete the project. Thanks for checking out this fun Center Step-Card and I hope you participate in the June FB Challenge! Click HERE to visit the SBC Facebook...
