Easy Watercoloring using Pencils

This is a very easy way to watercolor with pencils.  The best part is that it is so forgiving and you can have fun with it without worrying about perfection. Please check out the video to see how I made this card start to finish. Woohoo are you ready for our February Video Hop?!

Welcome everyone to our Scrapbook Blessings Club February Video Hop sponsored by Cristina here with my dt hop card. This is the last stop on the hop. We hope you enjoy all of our talented designers' creative projects. So here is my card and decorative goodie bag created for Easter,  using "Will Work for Carrots".  This month new release image.  With this being a scene image, clean and simple is a good way to go. That way you can focus on the image!  And digi images are not just for cards, you can use them on other items too like the paper bag below. Use a border punch to the top of the bag, matt you image and adhere!  Very easy to do!!! One person who comments on this post will also have the chance to win this image! Thanks for hopping with us this month. All hops are the last Saturday of the month. Travelers Notebook - Sew Happy

Hi everyone! Cristina here to share with you my first entry to my Travelers Notebook. (Well one of them) I am working on my sons notebook today and wanted to share with you some moments I captured. The story behind these pictures are that my son just started his Consumer Arts Program, and they are learning how to sew. One day he noticed he had ripped his pants and wanted to sew them (super cute moment) then the following week he asked if I would show him how to sew on my sewing machine. 💖 treasured moments.   Supplies Used: Thanks for stopping by and make sure to come visit me at http://4-getmenot.blogspot.com/

February Technique Blog Hop- SO SKETCHY!

Hi everyone, today is our YEAR OF CARD TECHNIQUES BLOG HOP.  So for February, we are talking sketches. Card sketches are great to use when you are not quite sure what card design you want to do. You can find them all over online for free just by using your search engine. If you want to start at them beginning, hop over to our hostess blog: Theresa at Scraps by Gracie. There will be a prize if you comment and subscribe to the blog in this hop. Our blog hop inspiration card sketch on the one on the right and the cards that I complete are below.... 1) I used premade die cuts for this party card. After I placed the images where I wanted them following the sketch, I used a Black felt tip pen and outline the images in the black, adding thicker lines to one side for more dimension. This is a great technique to have your images pop from the paper.  2) I used an embossing plate to give this card a little more dimension. This is great when you are using pla...

How To Make a Pocket Letter

Hi crafters, Maranda here! If you follow my blog, you may remember I had an entry about Pocket Letters not too long ago (which I will link to HERE ). "Love" | heART of Worship Bible Journaling

Happy Sunday! It's Maranda with Multiplicity Crafts ! For today's Bible art journaling entry, I am going with the theme of love. The scripture I chose in 1st Corinthians 13 was actually the one that was read at our wedding - so it has a special meaning to me. Verses 4-7 state: "Charity [love] suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things."   Remember, it's best if you prime your page using a clear Gesso before beginning. I like to coat the front and back of the page so the paper won't curl up on the edges. Once the Gesso is dry, you're ready to begin creating. I have all of the supplies you'll need linked over at my blog HERE . Please enjoy today's vi...
