Colorful Creations just had a Fall Online Crop and it was a lot of fun.  I was able to get most if not all of the challenges done and they had some cute games to play along with.  Here are my projects from that crop... I went to a ladies night last night with a couple of close friends.  We had a ball, the local all had a ladies night with freebies, samples, sign ups and such, then dinner and dessert.  I decided to make little bags for each of the ladies.  They were so simple to do.  I started with a plain brown lunch bag. I cute a strip of pattern paper at 6x3 and adhered to front of bag, then using the Forever Young Cricut cart, I picked a shadow silhouette and cut that at 4".  I picked a cute word for each of the bags and cut them at 1.5". To finish it off, I cut out little flowers at 1.5", all on the same cartridge. I trimmed the bag tp make them shorter for my purposes. Using a hole punch, I made two holes on each side and ran some fiber ribbon through back to front and tied in a know.  When you pull the ribbon, it closes the bag. Here is the bag when open, you can see the ribbon all around the top of the bag.  Inside I put some goodies, ie: tea light ...

I Will Follow I was so bless today because I got to spend the whole day with my sister and her family.  They are Assembly of God Missionary Associates and every Sunday they itinerate at different churches, which means they get to share their heart for missions and raise money for the budget for getting to Ethiopia.  They had a church service at 9:30 at one church and came to visit a church that I was at, at 11am.  It was a wonderful surprise to turn around when I felt a tap on my shoulder, and there they were!  I treasure this because I know the day is coming soon that I won't be able to worship with her for 2 years. Happy 6th everyone! Shelia at She's a Sassy Lady just recently made some cute penguin tags for a swap and shared with us on how to do multiples on our Gypsies.  Take a peak over there, they are cute. I decided to make the first tag of the season and share it with her and you.  I used A Child's Year cart for my tag.  It is fun and simple, I plan on using these for this Christmas. I cut out my tag a 4x2.5 and added eyelet  ( I did blue on blue).  Then I found this cute little kiddo building a snowman.  I cut it 2.5 inches in white card stock.  I couldn't decided if I want the shadow of not, so I cut both and them decided from there. The rest was as easy as pie.  I used my glue pen, trimmed it down and love how the details pop on the navy. Using my white paint pen, I tapped little dots to make it look like snow and added a sentiment to the bottom. Thanks for stopping by.

One site that I just love for inspiration and challenges is Cardz TV .   They just had a challenge for s-fold cards.  I always called them z-fold but they are one and the same.  So I decided to play around and made one and thought to add it to my tutorial page too.  So here it goes... Start with with 8.5x11 cards and cut in half, making two pieces measuring 4.25x5.5 as seen here Fold in half and this is an A2 card (perfect for invite envelopes that you can find at Walmart) Fold the top flap of card over in half (see below).  This will give you your z-fold, notice the bottom of the card, it kinda looks like a z. Now the fun begins...  Start with pattern paper or card stock in another color to layer onto card.  The measurements for this card is 5.25x2 for out side flap and 5.25x4 for inside of card.  Adhere to card and when you open it up, it will look like this... To embellish, I cut out 3 1.5 inch pumpkins and ran them...

One of my favorite sites is LESS IS MORE  cards.  I love the clean lines and sometimes cards with a lot of embellishment is just toooo much. I noticed I didn't have any wedding cards left in my stash so I decided to play along with this challenge...Love & Marriage.  Here are the two cards that I did, hope you like them... I actually took the ribbon off this card, I thought it was still too much and like it better, just didn't take a new picture.  This one is a cake shape card from the Wild Cards Cricut Cartridge, with shimmer card stock and some bling.  Here it is open...  love shape cards!
