BL-wk 1

I have to say I cried more this season than any other, and it was only the first wk!!!! These stories are heartbreaking. I am so blessed and motivated. For me, this is the first season where I am not bigger than the biggest woman (not including Shay who is over 400lbs. I am a little put off of Jillian and Bob though. Talk about potty mouths! I couldn't follow the conversations because of all the bleeps. As far as who got voted off, I think they made a good choice after I thought about it.(black team student, sry, I don't know all the names yet) At first I was like, "no way, she worked her butt off". But I think she will do great on her own. She has something to prove now being voted off first. I hope she gets a chance to come back on her own. Can't wait until next Tuesday!

Biggest Loser

Hey! I just realized BL starts tonight!!!!! This is really cool since summer is over, and I (gulp) stepped on the scale today. I have gained 20 lbs over the summer, but I did have a great time doing it, lol . So I'm starting again at 270. Praise the Lord... it still not the 320 that I was this time last year! So feel free to join me tonight. I will definitely be following and putting my two sense in...all comments welcomed as long as they are rated G.

Fast, Short, Crazy Summer

Hi everyone! Hope you had a blessed summer. I can't believe it's over already. The weather here in Ohio was quite mild, but we did get to go swimming twice. So, I have the fall decs up now...it's my favorite time of year. I cut off some of my computer time due to being outside all summer, even withdrawing from some groups. I was getting spread too thin. But summer break is over, and I have to get back into the swing of things. A quick summer recap... birthday parties galore, baseball games, vacation to see the in-laws, a couple of fairs (we'll get to the fair food in a second), out of town family visiting, family reunions, church, Journey Group (Thurs. bible study), Wed night Bible school, camping, starting up a scrapbook club..whew, I'm tired typing, lol , family get togethers , going to the park alot , garage sale... I think that's it... Oh, wait! I must not forget working full-time during all this. I am working 4- 10 hr days so that gives me a longer we...

Loving the birthdays!

Feeling the love from my blogland buddies. You all do a heart good :) Another crazy week... Jessica turned 4, and we had a Disney Princess party. She had a blast. I love having birhtday parties for the kiddos. Before you know it, they just want money and keys to the car to go to the mall, lol. My recent facebook post: "Home from Chuck E Cheese B-day Party. This was a fun one, night and day from going to a B-day on a weekend (hint, hint)." Mamas stay AWAY from birthday parties at Chuck E Cheese (pizza/game place)during the weekends!!!! LOL. Hope you have a blessed week and know you are all in my prayers!!!

Saying hello

Boy oh boy, I have been a busy bee. The weather got nice and life went into fast motion. Work, family, church, vacations, birthday parties, baseball games. I can go on and on!!! On the weight toss front, I was able to gain 10 pounds in one week (camping trip and s'mores galore). It was sooooo easy a caveman can do it, lol !!!!! I've got on plan a tiny bit and lost 4 lbs in the last two weeks but have a way to go. One question???? I am 70lbs, okay 60 now ;) and I tried on some new bathing suits. Why do bathing suits make any size woman look bad?!?!? They are evil!!!! I am still not swimming this summer, maybe next summer!!! Miss all my blog land friends! Here is a good story from my step dad for you :o) Keeper *************** I grew up in the 40's/50's with practical parents. A mother, God love her, who washed aluminum foil after she cooked in it, then reused it. She was the original recycle queen, before they had a name for it... A father who was happier g...

How To Stop A Church Gossip

Mildred, the church gossip, and self-appointed monitor of the church's morals, kept sticking her nose into other people's business.. Several members did not approve of her extra curricular activities, but feared her enough to maintain their silence. She made a mistake, however, when she accused Ray, a new member, of being an alcoholic after she saw his old pickup parked in front of the town's Only bar one afternoon. She emphatically told Ray (and several others) that every one seeing it there WOULD KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING ! Ray, a man of few words, stared at her for a moment and just turned and walked away. He didn't explain, defend, or deny. He said nothing.. Later that evening, Ray quietly parked his pickup in front of Mildred's house .... Walked home ... And left it there all night. (You gotta love Ray!)
