Another Pop Up Slider Card!

Well I didn't get a chance to get my card up with the challenge post on Sunday but here it is for today! Better late than never. Remember my product review on Thursday? Well here is the finished project with that lovely water color! TIP: Don't be afraid to try something new!   I kept the card pretty simple so the watercolor was the main focus. I stamped a sentiment from the My Favorite Things stamp set "Sea Life"...this birthday card will be used to send away to someone I don't typically see on their birthday. Don't forget to join in on our challenge ...and remember you get an extra entry if you create a pop up slider card!    Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Monday's Die Cutting Machine Project

Good Monday morning to all, and here it is the last day of March.  Where or where is the month gone to?  Before I share my two projects using my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the items, my TIP is:  if a card that you had created is blah, bling it some more.... I chose two of my past projects that I created using in Silhouette Cameo, and I believe, in this case SCAL software to create the baby dress.  I'm not sure where the cupcake pattern came from so I'm not able to give credit where it's due, my apologizes for that. First photo is of the baby dress I created and than added more bling to it to update the card.  I added baby pearls (SU Pearls) to the both sleeves, and where the holes are at hem of the dress I took my Wink by Stella pen (Purple) and colored inside the holes.   Supplies used: My own pattern file for the Baby dress card. Ribbon from stash the small pearls in sleeves; and two down the front from Stampin! Up Wink by Stell...

Flip Card with Ornate Label

Hello my scrapping/card making friends, Carolyn here with a card project I done on my Sizzix Big Shot and a new die that I just recently purchased for Monday's Die Cut Machines.  Tip will follow below. This is a Flip-card using a Ornate label die, front and with the card laying flat out so you see the inside of the card. Tools/supplies used:   Silhouette Cameo for cutting the Ornate Label, and print and cut the butterfly. Scalloped edge hand punch for the edge of card plus the mat Oval punch for matting Stamps from retired stamps set by Stampin! Up White pearl beads that I placed on butterfly embellishments from Stampin Up TIP :  Use scrap card stock and/or paper where you can; and I have purchased this die cut hoping to make it easy for myself, but for .99 cents on SilhouetteAmerica Online Store , can purchase close to the same software design!! Thanks so much for joining us today and don't forget to...

A Pop-up Gift card using Sizzix die cutting.

Hi, Carolyn here  to share Monday's Die Cutting Machine project.for Scrapbook Blessings Club; and I chose a project using the Sizzix Big Shot die cutting machine... But first my Tip:   when creating these popup cards, at least with me, trim the inside insert just a tadbit on top and bottom so it will not 'hang' over the edges before adding glue.  So... onto the project:   This is what the outside of the card looks like.  The base for this is also a Sizzix die which has the rounded corners that you insert into slits on back inside of the base.  I used a Martha Stewart hand punch for the bottom and layered with design paper.  Placed small pearls in the circles of the punched area; and the title is a cut file from MyScrapchick   Inside of the card:  cut from a magnetic die with heart combined on the end.  I placed a Stampin! Up ribbon on the one end; and I trimmed with tan strips of card stock on inside folds...
