April Blog Hop- Paper Doll Sophia Let's Go

Welcome to the MFP Stamp Shop April Blog Hop Let's get started!!!! This month's new Stamp Set Releases are: Featured  April 28- scroll down to see Paper Doll Sophia TODAY!!!!! Featured  April 29 Paper Doll Sophia Let's Go So this is an accessory clothing stamp that fits Ms. Sofia perfectly but... I wanted to think outside the box. And I think I came up with a pretty cool idea... using the pleated skirt, I made this neat ruffle flower type image. I used two different color inks and overlapped them. The more I kept stamping, the more I knew I was on to something. I am also on a polka dot/sequin kick ( last month it was doodling, lol). For the dots, I used the eraser of a pencil and just went to town. Then I used Crackle Accents (same as Glossy Accents, but you get a cool crackle effect), to make the dots pop. Items used Momento inks, pencil with fresh eraser, patter paper for the bottom and Crackle Accents. A little outside the box but I hope you like it! Come back and check ...

Welcome to the    Remember the old kids game, Telephone? You know the one where a secret is told to the first person in line and then they tell what they think they heard to the next person and they tell the next person and so on and so on.  At the end of the line, the person says what they heard and the first person tells what they originally said and laughter erupts because the two things are nothing alike.  Well today's hop plays that game, but with card making instead of secrets. This hop is un-like any you've probably ever been too.  We took one card created by Theresa from ScrapsByGracie and sent it to the next blogger who then C.A.S.E.d the card (copy and steal everything) and sent her card on to the next blogger who C.A.S.E.d it and sent her card to the next blogger.  You get the idea.  When you are done hopping you'll see how different or maybe how similar the last card is to the first. So let's get hopping....

HomeMade Saturday - Raggedy Ann 25"

Hi all, I am here to share with you a sewing project I've been working on for a month to six weeks.  About two years or slightly more my niece asked me if I would make another Raggedy Ann doll for her oldest daughter, Julisa as she applied make-up to her 15" doll and didn't like the doll.... So I decided to make a 25" doll for replacement and here is pics of the doll....   Doll w/out her hair   Finished project.   and the tag: Ragdolls by Scrappy Dew.com .  Printed and cut using my Silhouette Cameo and Studio DE software.  Actually, I loaded file into my Make the Cut software, put all the pieces together to form the Raggedy and saved as a png file so I could print and cut (or if I prefer, print than cut on the Cricut Explore.) Using Inkscape and Studio DE I created a little tag as a card, so my sister and I could sign the inside.  I know there will be a happy 10 year receiving this doll by the end of this week....
