Today the design team was challenged to make
a project with the Icon Feature using the Cricut
The icon feature is not on every cartridge but when it is, its a great feature to have. It is basically an object that corresponse with the image cut. For example, I used the butterfly "icon" cut from Graphically Speaking cartridge. It goes with "Life is Good" cut on pg 57.
- Butterfly blackout and butterfly both cut at 2.5 inches along with the little fly swirl in ligth blue
- Hi There was cut from Beyond Birthdays cart at 2" in navy
- Light blue scalloped card base cut from A Child's Year at 5.5"
I love making butterflies look like they landed on the cards just by how they are adhered to the card. In this case, I just fastened down one side of image and bent the other side up.
