In The Mine 12x12 Process Video // Multi Photo

Hello everyone, welcome back! My name is Katelyn and I am sharing with you some tips on how to make poorly printed photos work for you. I have a whole process video explaining all of the details as well, so be sure to check that out. This layout includes three photos that are very, very similar. Which helps tell the story. I hope you enjoy! Some times we get photos from our home printers or from third party printing sites that didn't come out the way we anticipated. The photo in my example was not processed correctly on the right hand side which you can see in the beginning of the video. However, I figured that instead of requesting a new one and jumping through hoops that I could make it work. Please enjoy the process video below. I created two cluster groups to help balance the page. One is over the poorly printed part of the photo and the other is on the opposite side. Balancing your page is key for an aesthetically pleasing layout! All of the products used in this

Let’s Get “Merry and Bright” with the FOTM

Let’s Get “Merry and Bright” with the FOTM So I just have one word on this kit..... STICKLES LOVE STICKLES ok, that was three words!!! Hi everyone, Sandy here with four easy cards that you can make with the Single Scoop Kit and Stickles. So there is a kit for everyone and every budget! This is my favorite of the bunch.

Be the light

Hi everyone, Sandy here for a fun and very cute project that I did with Cute Critter stamp set from  Concord & 9th So for todays project, I wanted to have some fun with different card designs, and I knew that these stamps would be great. For my first card, I wanted to do something different with the light bulb. So I did a cut out shape in the front card panel. That way the bulb can "shine" through... get it, lol/ When you open the card, this is what the inside looks like. I just wanted something fun and not a regular card. What to do you think? Now for my second card ( I know, I always seem to do more but when the "light bulb goes off in your head"... get it?  It is hard to resist, lol.  I wanted a fun inside and this is the easiest tech ever.  The outside looks like a normal card. Though I did pop up the flower so it is actually a flower on a flower. I did cut the top flower, I wanted to give it some interest and dimension. A pop up card!

Easy Cards from Scrapbooking Supplies - Happy Fall

Hello crafty people! I am bringing you a topic that I like to revisit every so often. If you are both a scrapbooker and a card maker, then you'll know that the supplies don't vary too much from one another. However, if you're only a scrapbooker, it can be hard to try and make cards without owning stamps or embossing. Today, I tackle making a card without typical card making supplies!  I used some plain Kraft colored cardstock to create my base of an A2 sized card. I then grabbed a 6x6 paper pad to find a background paper. You can use any size paper for your backgrounds which is convenient for using up some of that scrapbook paper. I cut this piece in to 4" x 5 1/4".  The video explains my decision process a little more, but there are so many options when it comes to making cards like these that there's no one right way. I pulled out a cut apart that worked as a sentiment for my card. Most of the piece were from the Simple Stories Pumpkin Spice c
