Another Pop Up Slider Card!

Well I didn't get a chance to get my card up with the challenge post on Sunday but here it is for today! Better late than never. Remember my product review on Thursday? Well here is the finished project with that lovely water color! TIP: Don't be afraid to try something new!   I kept the card pretty simple so the watercolor was the main focus. I stamped a sentiment from the My Favorite Things stamp set "Sea Life"...this birthday card will be used to send away to someone I don't typically see on their birthday. Don't forget to join in on our challenge ...and remember you get an extra entry if you create a pop up slider card!    Hope you have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by,

Hi Everyone, Sandy here for Friday Layouts.  I am putting together a faith scrapbook with my favorite Bible verses. My tip: if you are starting out scrapbooking, you can start with an 8x8 or in my case a 8.5x11 instead of going to the big 12x12. So here is my project, my first page of my 8.5x11 faithbook... Marks Finest Papers August Blog Hop- Day 4

Welcome to the Marks Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company August Blog Hop!  This month's New Stamp Set Releases are Dear Santa I have been a good little crafter!  Welcome back to our last day of our hop. I had an absolute blast with these stamp set!!!  So lets get started! First I did a Brrrr card with this darling snowman! Where do you these he is? I made this for a special friend in mind (hint, she doesn't get snow!) My Card Tip: want clothes with a design... paper piecing. Pick a small pattern paper design and stamp you image on it, then just cut out what you want and post it on top of a second stamped image on white cardstock. Such an easy and fun technique. Next, Santa and I had a lot of fun together. First I made this easy ornament. I just used a rosette that I cut from my Cuttlebug and using cute Santa circle stamp, I made this easy to do ornament.  I think this would be a great craft for the kiddos to do for Christmas. I decided to try a different card technique...

Marks Finest Papers August Blog Hop- Day 3

Welcome to the Marks Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company August Blog Hop!  This month's New Stamp Set Releases are Thanks for stopping by for day 3! We are playing with our keys today. Unfortunately, I always seem to misplace mine. But these keys are not going anywhere, lol. I wanted to try a Clean and Simple Card. There is a tutorial on MFPS ning site (a whole list of fabulous tutorials over there!!!) using a clear stamp block so instead I thought to try something different.  I used a pink BIC marker to scribble a background color and then framed it in with a die cut. I did the sweet matching lock on the inside of the card. My Card Tip: Use a Pearl Pen to simple dots. You can make them any size you want, small or larger and it keeps it puffy form when it dries. An A+ recommendation for your scrap desk. Hope to see you tomorrow for our last day!!!! Featured   Aug. 15 Dear Santa and Brrrr Please  hop along with us! You have a chance to win one of the above stamp...
