----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Are you ready for our next fun challenge? The DT is sharing with you their take on a great technique...DYI Pattern Paper. Here is a great video by Sandy on YouTube using stamps and ink to create a custom pattern paper. She shares the how- to- do for this technique by using repeating patterns.
(its for Christmas paper but the tech will work with any stamp image)

Here are the inspiration pieces created my SBC DT using Bugaboo Digital Stamps and making their own pattern paper

Sandy- A Working Mom's Joy

Tip: Use one stamp repeatedly for background and don't forget to stamp inside of the card too!

TiP:  Use stamps with smaller patterns to create smaller pieces of cardstock.

Tip: A stamping wheel makes a good way of creating your own paper.

Cristina - VintagePink39
Tip: Make sure to use GOOD watercolor paper when using water based products.

Lynne - Her Craftiness
Tip: Have fun and let your imagination soar (or swim for that matter!)

Jennyfer - Jennyfer Creates
Tip: Cut your background paper into smaller pieces to allow flow.

Marilyn - Marilyn's Crafts
Tip:  Use digital designs to create your background

We hope this technique inspired you along with the great design team projects. Your challenge:

Create a card using a
Clear/Rubber Stamp Image or Digital Stamp Image

*****You do NOT have to do the "DYI Paper
techique" for your project, just make sure it follows the challenge theme: Stamped Images

This challenge ends on Saturday, Feb 1st at 9:00pm EST.  Also, you can join up to our Facebook group: Scrapbook Blessings Club for more fun, games, inspiration, tips and techniques.

  4. Just found your challenge and am hoping to enter your 'pretty pictures using stamped image' challenge tomorrow. I'm guessing that in the summary, where you say, "challenge theme- Celebrate Winter' is an error. Hopefully because my card is definitely not winter themed.

Fiskars AdvantEdge Punch System Review

Good morning friends, Carolyn here with a review of a new tool I just recently purchased.  Received a newsletter from Scrapbook.com recently and checked it out.  But I did not purchase from Scrapbook.com as it's out of stock, so went to another source, and it arrived this past Saturday afternoon. TIP:  Easy way to create borders for your scrapbook page layouts, or embellishing the page or creating edges for your cards.  Gives you ease of creating a border across the edge(s) of paper; and create a border strip and cut down to size you would like for embellishing a sentiment mat for a card or front of card.
