Only 70 to go!!!!

I'm finally getting to the down ward slope of this journey. Today is my 3 month appt since surgery. I weigh 240 lbs! I was in college the last time I weighed this much! The weigh does seem to be slowing down but luckily, I take my measurements. So even if I don't see the pounds coming off, I see inches and my clothes fit better. My goal is 170 lbs. I think that is achievable and realistic for me right now, so I only have 70 more lbs to go. Yep, that means I've lost 84 lbs to date with 51 of them being after surgery.

When I started this journey, I was wearing 30/32/4x pants and shirts. I now were 18/20/2x sizes! Can't wait to get to the 14/16s!!! I'm also exercising every other day at my mom's/ She has a Gazelle, recumbent bike and tread mill. I do 15 min on each. I'm even at .82 miles on the treadmill in 15 min. My goal is a 15 min mile! I don't feel comfortable exercising at the gym by myself yet. I feel like everyone is watching and comparing each other. This is probably my insecurities but I'll get there, it will just be in my timing.

Hubby and my family is very happy with my progress. Hubs even said once that I wasn't plus size any more but chunky, lol. Thanks for the compliment honey... I think, lol. I also put up a picture on Facebook and he said I have to stop losing weight because he is starting to drawf me. I say THANK YOU GOD!!! LOL Here is the picture I put up.
I was 253 lbs here and have lost 13 since but I think we make a good looking family :)

Building Block Graduation Card

Hello, everyone! Melissa here on to share a "building block" style card with you. I made this one graduation themed, since there are a ton of graduations going on right now. Hope you enjoy this card, and are inspired to try it out yourself. Here is the tutorial I followed from Split Coast Stampers. To make it easier, I will give you all the measurements, here. It looks harder than it is, I promise. Start with a piece of cardstock in your desired color that is 5.5 x 10.5. Put the 10.5 inch side along the top of your score board or paper trimmer, and score at 3.5 inches and 7 inches. Fold the first score line in a mountain fold, and the second in a valley fold. You should end up with a "z" fold card. The next part can get a bit tricky, so make sure you watch the video to fully understand what I am about to explain. On the back side of the "valley" fold, take a ruler and pencil and mark these measurements: 3/8 1 3/8 1 5/8 2 5/8 2 7/8 3 7/8
