SBC's New Design Team Members

Hello! I am soooo excited to announce our new team members. We had a design team call last month, and I want to thank all those that submitted their applications.

So without further adieu!!!!  First we have Angela!

Hi everyone I am Angela. I worked most of my working life as a trained Nurse and a Sleep Apnoea

Consultant. In the later years I worked in Local Government. I now enjoy being part of Design Teams

feeding my creativity in all themes of Papercraft including Scrapbook Layouts, Card Making, Beyond The

Page Projects. I am always loving the challenge of something new.

My favorite craft tip: I love using mists on white flowers to get the color I'm looking for, so keep

a few white flowers and you will always have the right color for your card or layout.

The mists can also be used on your ribbons as well to get corresponding colors or if you use Copic Markers you can color your white ribbon with these as well.

My blog address is http://angetreasures.blogspot.com.au/

Here are a couple of Angela's fabulous creations!

Our next new member is Annette!

Good Day ~ firstly I would like to thank The Scrapbook Blessings Club for this wonderful invitation ~
My name is Annette Stapylton, I live in Nowra Sydney Australia.
I started Scrapping 19 years ago when it was extremely popular, just took it up as a hobby.
Since retiring 4 years ago I have been scrapping on a constant basis entering challenges in various fields.
By Trade, I was a Curtain Designer/Interior Design and Pattern maker so I find I am able to put these skills to good use in my scrapping.

My Favorite craft tip: I find a pattern for a card and I change it and alter the sizes to suite what I want to create.

Once again, a big congratulations to our new gals!

My Favorite Craft Tools and Giveaway!!!

Hi everyone, Today's video is a fun one for me. Since getting back into crafting I have noticed that I am pulling certain items over and over again and thought it would be fun to share with you. Personally, I feel every crafter should have these starting out.  They make creating easy and fun! Building Block Graduation Card

Hello, everyone! Melissa here on to share a "building block" style card with you. I made this one graduation themed, since there are a ton of graduations going on right now. Hope you enjoy this card, and are inspired to try it out yourself. Here is the tutorial I followed from Split Coast Stampers. To make it easier, I will give you all the measurements, here. It looks harder than it is, I promise. Start with a piece of cardstock in your desired color that is 5.5 x 10.5. Put the 10.5 inch side along the top of your score board or paper trimmer, and score at 3.5 inches and 7 inches. Fold the first score line in a mountain fold, and the second in a valley fold. You should end up with a "z" fold card. The next part can get a bit tricky, so make sure you watch the video to fully understand what I am about to explain. On the back side of the "valley" fold, take a ruler and pencil and mark these measurements: 3/8 1 3/8 1 5/8 2 5/8 2 7/8 3 7/8
