Masculine or Feminine Love card

Hello and welcome to all my scrappy and crafty friends. Barbara here. I am going to show you how to make a love card that could be masculine or feminine.

MY TIP: Use neutral colors with a pop of red for cards that can be masculine or feminine.

Here is my finished project for today:



Recipe
Cardstock for base of card 10 x 7 inches folded at 5 inches
border punch
coordinating patterned paper punched with border punch 6.5 inches by 2 inches
heart print paper 3 x 6.5 inches
small banner piece 1 x 3 inches
large banner piece 4.5 X 3.75 inches
XO stamp
red ink

First punch a border for the left side of your card.
If you have a notebook page punch that would work well too.

Attach your border

Add your heart patterned paper over the border leaving a little of the base card showing.


Then I stamped the banner with XO in red ink and used mist at the top of the border.


Add your layers of border and trim at the top of your border and you are done.

Hope you enjoy this card, and are inspired to try it out yourself. Here is the tutorial I followed from Split Coast Stampers. To make it easier, I will give you all the measurements, here. It looks harder than it is, I promise. Start with a piece of cardstock in your desired color that is 5.5 x 10.5. Put the 10.5 inch side along the top of your score board or paper trimmer, and score at 3.5 inches and 7 inches. Fold the first score line in a mountain fold, and the second in a valley fold. You should end up with a "z" fold card. The next part can get a bit tricky, so make sure you watch the video to fully understand what I am about to explain.
