GoldenGoodness

Getting to know each other at Golden Goodness:

1. What's one of the best things you've seen lately?
THE PASSION!!!!!! The play our church puts on every year. We had a compacity crowd on opening night!!! During alter call, 100 people came forward to accept Jesus as Savior. We have two performances today!!!

2. Has Spring brought you something you don't like?
A cold :( of all the times, when I need every bit of energy, I'm dragging :(

3. What kind of sandwiches do you like?
fat free ham/cheese on wheat bread (5 points)

4. Do you carry GermX with you at all times?
I'm gonna start, lol.

5. Does each person in your house have their own hamper or do you have a central hamper for everyone?
one for the whole family...actually 3/4 for the whole family

6. How often do you balance your checkbook?
I don't touch the checkbook, hubby does it all. I use my debit card and give him the receipts... I'm spoiled like that :)

7. What's the hardest thing you've done lately?
Went to work last two days, sick as a dog (where did that saying come from...hmmm?)

8. Are you a texter?
Nope, can't stand to text.

Comments

  1. We are super texters in my house. We have a teenager who will text us constantly.

I tagged you on my blog for a similar getting to know you post.

  2. Glad to see the play's going well! Sorry you have to do it with the cold, though!!!

"Sick as a dog" ... almost as much of a headscratcher as "Heavens to Betsy" and "For Pete's sake." Who are Betsy and Pete and why should we care???

(And as always thanks for the great comments!)

  3. I really need to talk to my hubby about doing the checkbook, I am not sure how that became my responsibility :)
Just making the rounds to all who played grilling goodness this week!

Building Block Graduation Card

Hello, everyone! Melissa here on to share a "building block" style card with you. I made this one graduation themed, since there are a ton of graduations going on right now. Hope you enjoy this card, and are inspired to try it out yourself. Here is the tutorial I followed from Split Coast Stampers. To make it easier, I will give you all the measurements, here. It looks harder than it is, I promise. Start with a piece of cardstock in your desired color that is 5.5 x 10.5. Put the 10.5 inch side along the top of your score board or paper trimmer, and score at 3.5 inches and 7 inches. Fold the first score line in a mountain fold, and the second in a valley fold. You should end up with a "z" fold card. The next part can get a bit tricky, so make sure you watch the video to fully understand what I am about to explain. On the back side of the "valley" fold, take a ruler and pencil and mark these measurements: 3/8 1 3/8 1 5/8 2 5/8 2 7/8 3 7/8 ...
