Wedding Bouquet Keepsakes

Hello, Friends!  Marilyn here with a tutorial on preserving the bride's bouquet after the wedding.   My tip:  make sure your flowers are dried before using a dried floral preservative. Shadow Box Keepsake Here is what I used: Shadow Box.  Mine is 8" x 10" and was purchased in a set of three from Michaels. Vinyl - mine is brown to match fall wedding colors Dried Floral Preservative - used to preserve the color and texture of the wedding bouquet flowers.  I used Gemini Masterpiece Dried Floral Preservative purchased at Hobby Lobby for $5.99.  Hot Glue / Hot Glue Gun Designer Paper Scraps - left over from the wedding invitations and bridal shower Cricut Cartridges - Beyond Birthdays, Doodlecharms and Storybook Bridal Bouquet Shadow Box Spray your dried flowers with Gemini Masterpiece Dried Floral Preservative.  Do this outside, this stuff is potent!  Cut background paper at 8" x 10".  I used ATG to tape right on t...

Easy Shape Cards

Organization make any project easier. One of my best investments recently is a spinning desk caddy for all my favorite and most used tools.  Now for today's tutorial project.... I did this quick video for you showing how to make a quick and basic shape card. So what do you think? Die-Cut and Quilling

Hello, Friends!  Marilyn here for Scrapbook Blessing's Club Monday's Die Cut project.  Today I created some magnets for my refrigerator using the Cuttlebug Daisy Quilling Kit.  My tip for this project is to use the correct sized Cuttlebug plates.   You'll need the longer ones to make this go smoothly. Here is what is needed: Cuttlebug or other die cutting machine Cuttlebug Quilling Kit (I used the Daisy.  Other flowers are available) Cuttlebug 6" x 13" Plates.  Both C and B plates are needed. White Glue E-6000 Glue Magnets (I used .5 diameter magnets) Magnet Recipe: Die cut all pieces using different colored card stock.  The picture above shows all the different die cuts included in the Quill Kit. Wink Of Stella- Product Review

Hi friends!  Sandy here for ScrapBook Blessings Club to share with you Thursday's product review. We will be looking at Wink of Stella and Signo White pens/brushes today.  First, I have my tip of the day for you....  It is okay to go back and re-look at projects you have already done. You never know, you might be able to "upgrade" or tweak them a little with new things you learn or have purchased. On to our video review. This one was done by me, and you might have to turn it up a little, I didn't realize that the mic was turned down, sorry. So what do you think? I am really loving the shimmer glitter that these brush pens give you and I swear by the Singo white pen. Once you go Singo, you'll never go back, lol!!! Halloween Mini Album

Hey kids! It's Cindy here on the SBC blog and I have a mini album to share with you today!  TiP:  Use patterned papers from a smaller stack for mini albums/cards.  The patterns are smaller scale.   I cut the pages out of cereal boxes.  To cut this with your Cricut you need the deep cutting blade @6, speed at low, Pressure at max, and multi cut @2. Elegant Edges Cricut cart - Eyelet2 @ 6" using the book feature, Scallop2 @ 6" using the book feature, Ivy @ 6" using the book feature.
