E is for Emily

Hi Friends, Sandy here with my Scrapbook Stamp Society DT  creation for you! The project I created is for my youngest  (5yr old) daughter, Emily.  She helped with the color choices......okay, she told mama what to do with HER picture and wouldn't leave my side until I finished. We even had to add Stickles, lol.  She said it was "FABULOUS"!and loves  it!  Hope you do to, so here it is.... I went with a 8x8 purple picture frame as my base. The coloring was all done with Prismacolor Pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits. I also used Inkadinkadoo Stamping Gears for the stamping around the picture along with using the scallop square die to cut the frame for the image. I then finished the pictures with all the fun embellishments ie: paper roses, ribbon, Prima flowers, pink incking, Stickles and a little butterfly tag that says, So Pretty. without the frame Here is a close up of this wonderful image. You can find this digital stamp and many, many more at the  ...

Suzy Snowflake

Sandy here with my DT project for Sunsational Stamps... I saw Suzy Snowflake int the shop, and knew I love to make something with her. So using her as my inspiration, I decided I was make a little gift box that I could fill with hot chocolate packages and marshmallows.  The box is pre-made and I purchased a couple of them after the holidays. I colored the digi with Spectrum Nior markers, used pattern paper for my background, and add a cute little tag that I punch out with my circle punch. Suzy Snowflake Hope you like this box project. You can check out  Sunsational Stamps store  for many more wonderful stamps, digis and paper piecing images. You can find more projects, tips and inspiration at my blog A Working Mom's Joy . Harvesting Memories Blog Hop

Welcome to Harvesting Memories Blog Hop today, hosted by Lisa at Honeybearz Designs . That is our first stop on the blog, so you can hop over there to start.  Lisa asked us to make something Harvest/ Autumn themed, soooo.... For my project, I used the video tutorial challenge over at Scrapbook Blessings Club , you can click HERE to see the challenge and for the card instructions. Here are Twisted Gift Holder Cards that I made for each of the kiddos' teachers. Inside is a Panera Gift card and a little note saying,  "Thanks for all you do. I am so happy you are my teacher. Here is a bagel and coffee on me.... ( I like chocolate milk though!)"  Sam (Emily or Jessica)  I was able to make all three card folds in 5 min and then the fun starts... embellishing!!!  For this card, the sentiment was embossed using white powder and heating gun. Also used was 3D sticker embellishment and scallop/circle punches. I think this on is my favorite and will definitely be going to...
