Challenge #26 Anything Goes (featuring Joy Fold Cards)

Carolyn here with our next challenge which is Anything Goes - featuring Joy Fold Cards (there is undoubtedly other names for this fold, but this  I was directed to by subscriptions to splitcoaststampers video on youtube.com.).  This can be made in different sizes, so lets see what we can create with this easy card.

Our sponsor for this  challenge is (drum-roll please)  Meljen's Designs Digitals

Ready for the challenge.  Here is the video to watch...

And now to our DT's  creations showing this card technique.

Tip: Using Mono reverse pattern papers, place one horizontally and one verticallly to give a different effect.

TIP:  Rather than a square for the inside piece, I created a circular fold-over card. Try different variations.

Tip:  I created mine in A2 size (measurements on my blog) and made it horizontal.  Add a ribbon to keep it closed.

Sandy- A Working Mom's Joy
My Tip: When you are stuck with what color to use on your images, just pick out the papers you want to use and match up the colors with your pencils/markers.

Teresa~Fresh and Renewed
My Tip: The sentiment does not always have to go on the outside!
Check my blog for the inside photo..heehee!

Brenda - Disney Girl

My Tip:  Don't restrict yourself to the measurements given in a tutorial.  Use them as a guideline to make a smaller or larger version of the card shown in the tutorial,

To find more information on how they did that, please click on their name/blog or the challenge under their picture. Thanks for playing along.
We hope these design team projects inspire.

Your challenge:
Anything goes: cards, banners, layouts but if you enter a Joy Fold card, you will get an extra chance entry for this challenge sponsor.

This challenge ends on Saturday, August 23rd at 10:00 pm EST.  Also, you can join up to our Facebook group: Scrapbook Blessings Club for more fun, games, inspiration, tips and techniques.
If you do make a project using the featured technique, telescoping card,
your project and blog may be showcased on the SBC Facebook group.
And as always, comments are appreciated. Thank you for stopping by and Have a blessed day!

Fiskars AdvantEdge Punch System Review

Good morning friends, Carolyn here with a review of a new tool I just recently purchased.  Received a newsletter from Scrapbook.com recently and checked it out.  But I did not purchase from Scrapbook.com as it's out of stock, so went to another source, and it arrived this past Saturday afternoon. TIP:  Easy way to create borders for your scrapbook page layouts, or embellishing the page or creating edges for your cards.  Gives you ease of creating a border across the edge(s) of paper; and create a border strip and cut down to size you would like for embellishing a sentiment mat for a card or front of card.
